Arrrggghh! 
Doomsday approacheth!

How I dreaded today. Thursday was the anticipated "D-DAY" or financial doomsday for emptying my feeble bank account to cover my SUV repair bills. And I also dreaded parting with my "home on wheels" for a few days. I had scheduled a tow truck to come and pick up my SUV from the parking lot of Brother John's nursing home at 9:00 AM today. 

B & R TOWING AND RECOVERY of Hendersonville, NC, sent Jamie Shuler with one of their trucks to pick up my SUV. But before he towed me to the Chevy repair shop, Jamie walked over and asked what the problem was. I told him about the terrible clanging as I tried to drive my vehicle a few days previously, and about how after much research on the Internet I had tentatively determined that it sounded like a CV joint or axle problem.

Jamie informed me that he had been a master mechanic for 20 years, and then asked to look under the vehicle at each front joint. Instructing me to turn my steering wheel in one direction, and then the other, he carefully looked at both joints and axle.

He then said, "Well, ma'am, your problem is NOT your joints. The boots are still intact, no oil is coming out, and they look just fine." Really! I started to get very VERY excited when I heard that good news.

I asked him, "So what do you think all that clanging the other day was? SOMETHING was wrong..."

He then told me it sounded to him like a 4 wheel drive differential that failed to disengage and was creating that loud repeat noise. Yes, this SUV did have 2 and 4 wheel drive on it. He said the problem could have been cold weather related with this recent arctic chill blast.

"Even with our trucks, we have problems when the weather gets this cold. It does affect the behavior of our vehicles as well..." Yesterday had been much warmer and lots of snow had melted. But in spite of warmer weather, I had been afraid to try to drive it again, for fear of doing any more damage to it.

He then told me to try to back it up, slowly. Fearing I would hear that terrible clanging noise again or even damage the vehicle, I slowly backed up, holding my breath.

And...NOTHING! No sounds at all. I was incredulous. He smiled and said to drive to the nearby gas station, and he would follow me to make sure that my vehicle was truly okay. He reiterated that the problem probably was the 4 wheel drive failing to disengage and then making that terrible noise.

The warmer weather yesterday may have caused it's release or melting of whatever moisture may have frozen in/on it causing it to temporarily malfunction. I really have no way of knowing.

And so, I slowly drove down to the local truck stop and gas station. EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT! He pulled in beside me and walked over to the SUV. "Here's some business cards...the next time you're REALLY in trouble, give me a call," he said as he smiled. 

I couldn't thank him enough. While he was smiling, I was still in shock. His on-location examination of my joints and axle, finding them in good shape, and then his suggestion that it was only 4 wheel drive and cold weather related and easily corrected, just saved me anywhere from $500 to $1,000 potentially in the local Chevy repair garage, including the cost of a diagnostic and towing fees. I could just picture my money flying out the window over this...

Bye-bye guys.........

Garages are often quite notorious to replace whatever you may request, EVEN THOUGH there may not be anything wrong with it to begin with. ("Hey...you ASKED us to do it, and we did it! And thanks for your money too...heh-heh!")

And Jamie saved me the towing fee as well. He charged me nothing for coming out to my vehicle.

My brother was so excited when I drove back to the nursing home and came in to pray with him this morning. We took hands and prayed, and he was SO thankful to God for this mercy today. He knew how I dreaded the cost of anticipated repairs, and being without my home for several days. Living on the edge for Christ, with limited resources, my life is often very fragile and vulnerable as well. Thank God for His mercies.

By the way, John is doing so much better today. I pumped him full of various vitamins yesterday as well. Plus, your prayers are working! I am now getting Brother John some more very potent vitamins at the local health food store.

So now you have "...the REST of the story" as famed radio commentator Paul Harvey used to say. After intense planning for the anticipated vehicle repairs, and dreading the thought of my bank account emptying because of towing/diagnostic/repair bills, I am still trying to comprehend the grace and mercy of God in even situations such as this. Whew! Time for collapsing in a nice soft armchair and praising God for a while, and being thankful.

So scratch all the fascinating things I was offering for sale to get the money for this! I am deleting that post and hanging on to my bizarre collection of unique, collectible and fascinating things until the NEXT upcoming crisis.  The walk of FAITH is always exciting, challenging, and filled with countless unknowns as well. 

Who knows what God will do TOMORROW, in response to that prayer you prayed TODAY???

All I know is, He sure answered 

MY prayers about this mini-crisis! 

And you can be certain He will also answer YOUR prayers as well.

Time For A Much Needed Sabbatical...

TIME FOR A REST!

John is now stabilized and as well as he can be in his circumstances. The people here at his nursing home are largely Christians and they care deeply about John. I have finally come to the realization that there is nothing more I can do for John than what they are doing already. All of his needs are supplied completely and he is very happy there.

I am weary of three months or more now of sleeping in my vehicle here, even being asked to leave the truck stop where I have been parking previously due to being there so long. Hard to sleep parked at the nursing home with so much traffic and doors slamming continually.

I cannot get a job here in this region. How safe is it for anyone who hires me with my background here? It remains dangerous for me to remain in this area yet. I can do nothing for John in a crisis if I am dead, and he knows this and is concerned for my safety continually. While he is thankful that God used me to rescue him from certain death, he also knows that I do not belong in this region full time.

I am praying about taking a sabbatical, much needed, from all of this stress and from being essentially out of my region. I am not called to be here  in Western NC long term and plan to leave, with a contingency plan to return to John should anything once again appear to be imminent. And to relocate him to a nursing home where I am as well. 

John also wants me to take a break too for a while...he is very happy in his new surroundings and his life was saved by my visit. There is nothing I can do for him at this point, because they have already taken care of everything for him already. My mission to rescue John has truly  been fulfilled for now.

It is time to finally take care of myself and basic needs.

I also need to be free to continue in my traveling and reporting and journeys at this time. I want to get Russian Bibles to the Russians in Gatlinburg TN soon.

John is fine and will continue to do well at this time in his new location. Now I must take time to look out for my own needs, which I can't do this in this region. And personally, I have no true desire to remain in this region wherein I was almost killed more than once. Too painful and too many memories and still danger remaining.

So pray for me at this time. Pray for John too. He is very happy and fulfilled where he is now. I made sure his important needs were met already.

I recently took the important liberty to buy myself a few Christmas presents by purchasing a few survival items...a little extra food, a Coleman lantern, some survival hand tools, and everything is completely depleted. Survival supplies and prepping is a bottomless pit! And funds go all too quickly.

I just experienced this the hard way. I am now totally depleted. I suppose alot of you are too at this time of the year! And my survival/prepping needs are woefully inadequate at this time. Pitiful, in fact. A back pack, sleeping bags, candle lantern and Coleman lantern, only a few food supplies extra. At least I have a warm coat from the Arctic experience and some warm sweaters and some hiking boots and a good camping knife.

Thank you for your prayers as I make my plans to safely relocate at this time. No home has opened up for refuge here, and no work as well. I must relocate at this time.

As I said, there is nothing here for me, and John's needs are well taken care of at last and he is now out of the danger zone. I cannot remain in a region where I can be endangered and have no job, etc. And honestly, I have no desire to remain here long term and no peace to do so.

My heart remains in other locations far away where God called me and has used me mightily throughout past years. 

So continue to pray for John to do well and be blessed where he is. Once I get relocated, I hope to relocate John to a new nursing home out of NC as well, and he knows this. And pray for me for God to show me what to do and where to go at this time. I hope to return to Montana. 

I still need something more substantial to live in. I don't think any of my readers would want to spend a winter or a Christmas living in their vehicle, seriously. Pray for a miracle for the right financial miracle and recreational vehicle to come into my life soon. And for rest at last.

UPDATE on Brother John: TRAGIC ACCIDENT

Today,  I have just spoken to my brother John for the second time, and he informed me of a tragic accident that happened in recent months. He didn't want to tell me about this yesterday, the first time I called and talked to him in many months. (He had been relocated without my knowledge and I had not known how to get into contact with him.)

John fell from his wheelchair, landing on his pelvic bones. Being over 6 feet tall, he is a heavy person. His weight caused him to fall hard, and he suffered a compound fracture of his pelvic bone. It was so serious, that his bone punctured the skin and protruded from his skin. This required emergency surgery. Screws were inserted to hold the compound fractures together and to repair the skin injury.

However, John finally admitted to me that he is in constant pain now, and believes that more surgery and repair must be performed. While previously mobile in a wheelchair, he can no longer sit in a wheelchair due to pain, and is confined to bed now most of the time. This is serious, because it can lead to bedsores (decubitis) and other complications. 

Although trusting fully in Jesus his Savior, John is very discouraged now. 

He was playing Christian songs on his guitar for Jesus and entertaining people in every nursing home he has been in. But when I asked him today if he could play his guitar, he replied sadly that he could not, because he cannot sit up now in a wheelchair as before. I could sense the discouragement in his voice today. 

Even as he moved to put the phone down by his bedside as we hung up, I could hear him groan in pain. Physical movements we often take for granted, are almost impossible for him now in his sad condition.

I realize now that I must relocate to be close to him at this time, and to ensure that he gets the proper medical care he needs as well. I have been a professional home health care provider prior to these past 18 years of journalism, and I understand the nature of his situation completely.

Thankfully, I have a wonderful support group of Christian friends in that region, who have known me for years, and who are praying for John and for my trip to be successful to return to assist him.

SO WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?

Bug-out bag

Much is being published across the Internet about preppers and preparing to survive the coming onslaught under martial law. People are being told to prepare their "bug-out" backpacks in case they have to flee from their homes into the hills, to escape the coming AMERICAN HOLOCAUST.

Well, I have my professional backpack and supplies for such a "bug-out" scenario. I have been prepared in many ways for the coming times I have reported on all these years.

However, as we increasingly hear reports of martial law looming closer this year, I now face a dilemma that many of you, my readers, may also face. 

How can you flee from your home to a remote place of safety, when you have loved ones in nursing homes or with physical handicaps??? Or when you have family members who are sick or incapable of mobility, who may be confined to wheelchairs or beds?

Do we simply rationalize what we have to do to save ourselves, and then abandon infirmed loved ones, to then die alone and forsaken in the coming martial law horror? 

Is this what Jesus would do to others...or to us? How would any one of us want to be treated if WE were sick, weak and bedridden?

I have written previously about what the NWO plans to do to "useless eaters" which include the handicapped, the elderly and the chronically ill. As the NWO planners admitted in a NWO seminar held in Denver, Colorado, some years ago, such handicapped people would helped to "humanely die." 

Translated: sent off to the camps to be TERMINATED. Just like Hitler's ruthless Illuminati-inspired Nazi Reich did to the mentally and physically handicapped.

And now, my brother told me that he needs me to be with him. 

With him...but also in a region wherein I battled for years with the satanists of those mountains, and wherein my life was continually endangered. 

With him...but in a region that I have reported has it's prisoner boxcars with shackles all in place, complete with military guillotines and satanic altars for good measure (the satanists in the mountains of NC are rabidly passionate for their NWO). 

And to be with my brother to possibly face martial law in a region like this, trapped because he is immobile. However...

For me as a Christian, there is obviously only one acceptable response in the sight of Almighty God, and that is to go to be with him in his crisis. And remain with him through his crisis. My beloved brother remains helpless in a hospital bed. I cannot let him down.

I am sitting here writing this report, thinking deeply about the future. All of this has happened so suddenly. What does this all mean now for me? 

Practically speaking, it means no bugging out on foot to safety when it all comes down. It means that whatever he is forced to endure due to his condition, I will go through with him. He cannot be permitted to suffer...or to die...alone. Jesus would not want him to, nor would I. Jesus wants to be with us when we go through our crises, and He also wants us to be with each other whenever hardships afflict His body of Believers.

This is what Christian love and commitment is all about. We are to love as Jesus loves, and to lay down our lives for one another.

The most important thing in our Christian lives, is never saving our lives. Rather, it is to lay down our lives for whatever God calls us to do for His glory, at any given time. We are called furthermore to lay down our lives in Christian love for one another. This is the testimony of Jesus in this dark world: LOVE.

"For God so LOVED the world, that He gave...." 

"By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, when you have love for one another." We are taught in the Bible, that there is no greater love in this world, than that of laying down our lives one for another.

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES!

Somehow, I know that my Father in heaven has a wonderful plan for both of us in all this situation. I believe in A MIRACLE GOD with whom ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

Throughout my many years of Christian outreach, I have seen the miracle hands of God raise people up out of beds of sickness and affliction. I have heard the testimonies of Jesus raising the dead as well. I was as good dead when Jesus saved and healed me completely in 1971. 

We must all refuse to limit God by UNBELIEF, because the miracle hands of God are compelled to move on the basis of OUR FAITH. As Jesus said, ALL things are possible to them that believe! So believe God with me!

I DARE to believe God FOR A MIRACLE for my brother John, and for myself as well. As dangerous as it was for me to minister in the past in that region, I have no fear in returning to those mountains of NC. My Bible tells me that satan has been defeated by our Savior Jesus Christ, and in Him we have VICTORY over all the forces of hell.

Apparently God still needs my Christian witness in that part of America. Hopefully, my witness will double in power, because I am trusting God for a mighty miracle of healing for my Christian brother. We will both be witnesses for Jesus in that region!

I believe God!

Please pray for both of us in this challenging journey of faith. All of this has happened suddenly. God has a reason in allowing all of this, and I suspect that, once again, it is all FOR HIS GLORY. His ways are higher than ours. Only He can see beyond the veil of our limited understanding. Please join me  in this faith adventure, through your faith and prayers!

A former Marine who was forced into a psychiatric ward for anti-government Facebook postings has been freed from the hospital by a Virginia circuit court ruling handed down Thursday.

Judge Allan Sharrett dismissed the case against Brandon Raub, 26, who had been detained by government officials in Richmond, Va., and transferred to a VA hospital in Salem, Va. The judge called the petition to continue Raub's forced detention “so devoid of any factual allegations that it could not be reasonably expected to give rise to a case or controversy.”

John W. Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute, the civil rights firm that defended Mr. Raub, called the verdict pleasant surprise to a “bizarre” case that seemed more in line with a police state than free America.

“I was very, very surprised,” Mr. Whitehead said in a Thursday telephone interview with Times247.com shortly after the ruling. “The way the system is erected, there are about 20,000 people committed each year and they never get out that fast. It never happens like this.”

In this instance, the judge was “outraged,” Mr. Whitehead said, and determined to issue a ruling the same day of the hearing. Mr. Raub was expected to be released immediately.

His saga began Aug. 16.

That’s when Mr. Raub was taken into custody at his Richmond home by FBI and Secret Service agents and Chesterfield County Police. He was not charged with a crime, yet he was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police vehicle. From there, Mr. Raub was taken to a police station and then to the John Randolph Medical Facility in Hopewell, Va., for a psychiatric evaluation.

He was never formally arrested or charged with a crime, Mr. Whitehead said.

“He was in his underwear, in his living room, he sees a group of police, FBI agents walking up, he talks with them, he’s asked about some Facebook postings, they handcuff him,” Mr. Whitehead said.

The Facebook postings were part of a private room chat, and included anti-government sentiments and warnings of revolution.

“The biggest thing in his profile is he’s a 9-11 truther,” Mr. Whitehead said. “He’s a Ron Paul libertarian. But so what? Thomas Paine would have been put into an institution" by that standard.

Cathleen Thomas, Mr. Raub’s mother, suggested it was her family’s political activism that drew the attention of the government.

“We’re just a very politically active family," she said in an interview Wednesday. "We keep our pulse on that, on the Constitution, we’re commanded to do that, actually, by the Founding Fathers." Most disturbing, she said, is the fact her son’s Facebook postings were private.

“They had to hack in to it to see it, then they took the comments out of context,” Ms. Thomas said. “Agree with him or not, agree with his comments or not, the bigger question is, why is the government checking on postings in the first place? The point is, he has a right to free speech.”

Mr. Raub also has a right, according to state law, for an order authorizing temporary restraint to be presented from a magistrate within four hours of forced detention. In Mr. Raub’s case, “that didn’t happen,” said Mr. Whitehead. Instead, a special justice granted law enforcement’s request to transfer Mr. Raub to the VA Hospital in Salem, for an evaluation and confinement of up to 30 days. In response, Mr. Whitehead filed a petition with the court contesting both the detention – the failure of government officials to uphold the state statute – and the transfer.

Ms. Thomas, meanwhile, prepared for the long commutes to visit her son.

“It’s a four-hour drive for us to Salem,” she said.

But on Thursday came the news: She only had to make the drive one more time.

Minutes after the ruling, Ms. Thomas was on the road to Salem to bring him home, Mr. Whitehead said. She could not be reached for immediate comment, but legal action could continue, Mr. Whitehead added.

“The mom and son feel aggrieved, being taken without charge and detained, and a civil action is being discussed,” Mr. Whitehead said. “And I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again. If you can handcuff someone and detain them without charge, that’s not freedom. The law must be modified so this doesn’t happen again.”

Mr. Whitehead said he did not have a time frame on when a decision to pursue civil action would be made.

Mr. Raub is a decorated Marine who served as a combat engineer for six years in Iraq and Afghanistan, Ms. Thomas said. His second tour in Afghanistan ended in March 2011, and he left the military with a sergeant’s rank and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, she said. Ms.Thomas said her son received an honorable discharge and was not taking any medication either during or after service.

He lives with his brother and two roommates two miles from his mother’s home.

The Pilgrims were English Separatists who founded Plymouth Colony in 1620. The Pilgrims, fleeing religious persecution, broke away from the Church of England because they felt the Church violated Biblical principles of true Christians. Due to persecution and economic distress, they believed they had to break away from the Church of England to form congregations which were more in keeping with divine requirements. 

Coming out of the recent Reformation, the Pilgrims believed the Church of England had not come far enough. The Church was under strict rule of the State so their actions were considered treasonous and these Separatists had to flee their homeland. 

Determined and very courageous men and women committed themselves (in all aspects of their lives) to life based on the Bible and a relationship with God. They brought their only known culture and spiritual values to the New World and attempted to establish an improved foundation of English society on an unfamiliar new continent.

For a young man hired as a cooper, John Alden soon assumed a place of high responsibility in the Plymouth Colony, serving as an Assistant many times between 1632 and 1640 and 1650 to 1686.  He acted as Deputy Governor on two occasions when the Governor was absent. When a nation fears and reveres the Lord God and upholds His commandments as reflected by her governing laws, her leaders and her people, this becomes a nation blessed by God and fruitful.

But when a nation falls from grace, to then be filled with sin of every kind, from the leadership on down, JUDGMENT WILL FOLLOW. 

Today, how far America has fallen from her noble ideals which the first Americans held, inspired by the eternal Word of God!
