The Victorious Overcoming Christian in the 21st Century

Modern-day Christians are now living in the dark and challenging world of the 21st century. This present world is filled with war and violence, cruelty and heartaches, temptations and corruption. North America is facing martial law and coming persecution of her Christians. We are perched on the brink of WW III. 

Who will be  successful and become a true child of God, with the right to enter into the glorious promises of God and His eternal kingdom??? 

ONLY THE OVERCOMERS!

In the book of REVELATION, the final book in the Bible, the wonderful promises of God are made 8 times "...TO HIM THAT OVERCOMES." This indicates that there is a battle yet to be fought and a war to be won in the life of every Christian, in order to fully inherit the PROMISES OF GOD.

Where do we find the guidebook that teaches us HOW to successfully over this world? It can only be found in the timeless and eternal word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ His Son. Jesus was the first overcomer to have total victory over this world. In His own words He proclaims, 

"....But be of good cheer, 

FOR I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD!"

From John 16:33

I don't know about you, but deep within I have the burning passion to be AN OVERCOMER. And I realize that I can only overcome sin and this evil world by following in His footsteps and becoming HIS DISCIPLE completely.

To be "His disciple" means to follow His teachings, commandments and example daily. Especially to keep His commandments. Much has been written in religious literature about the original Ten Commandments (and we should indeed study and keep them.)

But I find few articles or sermons teaching about the important of keeping Jesus' commandments, even though the apostles wrote frequently about them. 

Jesus Christ declared to His disciples that "...the person who keeps my commandments SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH." What a powerful statement this is! He also declares that the person who truly loves Him, will prove this by keeping His commandments.

When I first discovered this verse about keeping His commandments and studied it further, I began to search for His commandments throughout the four Gospels and compiled them.

As I read His commandments about love and forgiveness and showing mercy and compassion, this reinforced more than ever the reality that He IS truly the Savior of mankind and the Prince of peace worldwide, not ONLY spiritually but practically as well.

If everyone in the world studied and kept His commandments, there could BE no more war, no murder, no hatred or cruelty or abortion or organized crime and corruption.

LOVE would flow throughout His churches from the heart of every Christian, and throughout the world as well. 

There could be no more soul-damning cults, idolatry or satan-worship, for Jesus utterly condemns such idolatry and all related abominations.

Every evil we face in America and throughout the world today would end forever, IF mankind would repent and follow Jesus Christ and keep His commandments!

For many years I have studied and written about the deadly coming NEW WORLD ORDER agenda for North America, and the threat of globalism encroachment to the world also. I have published many articles warning God's people of the implications a new world order has for Christians and their cherished religious liberties and the future of the Church.

I have also published many articles discussing the importance of PRACTICAL EMERGENCY PREPARATION to face these coming times of testing and persecution (and even martyrdom for many).

However, after years of research and publishing articles on this subject of the NWO, I find myself compelled directly  back to SQUARE ONE: 

Jesus Christ remains the ONLY HOPE of salvation

for this wicked world and for sinful mankind. 

And the only way to be truly preserved and protected from this evil generation and the dark crowd's planned NWO, is to become fully immersed in Jesus Christ and His teachings and commandments. To put it simply, TO FOLLOW JESUS!

For Jesus Christ has already overcome the wicked one, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, reigning in victory triumphantly forevermore. And the Bible promises that we shall someday reign with Him, IF WE OVERCOME BY HIS GRACE and POWER!

This is why I personally spend much time daily in prayer and meditating on His words and commandments. I WANT to be an overcomer! I yearn to emerge victorious from every evil agenda and temptation this world can fling against THE CHRISTIAN.

And I yearn to see my fellow Christians rise up to become victorious overcomers over their circumstances as well. As Christians, we can only influence and impact the world around us for Jesus Christ, IF we are victorious overcomers. We are called to glorify God and Jesus Christ to others around us, to bring them to the light of salvation. 

But how can we do this, unless people see that we are OVERCOMERS and triumphant through our faith in Him??? We must therefore inspire others through our example and behavior in the world today.

Read what Jesus declared regarding this during His final earthly Passover with His disciples: 

"Father...I have glorified You on the earth...I have finished the work You gave me to do..." 

From John 17:4

From this statement it becomes clear that one of the most important goals a Christian can therefore have, is to glorify God and Jesus Christ in the earth today. This is a vital part of being AN OVERCOMER.

Therefore, we all must ask ourselves this question: does my lifestyle glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ? Does my life properly exemplify the teachings of Jesus Christ and His commandments? Are my actions and words and examples touching the lives of others and inspiring them to believe in Jesus Christ as well???

Or...are my negative words and actions turning people away from Christianity? Are people thinking as they observe us, "Well, if THAT is what a Christian is, I don't want to be one!"

I have watched throughout the years as many who profess to be Christians, and even evangelists and Christian leaders, have sadly fallen into various sins and temptations. 

Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world.

Thankfully, there is an antidote for sin, and that is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We can be forgiven because of what He did on the cross for us as Christians. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9)"

But when we choose to fall into sin and temptation, how then does this serve to glorify God to the world around us? People will become aware of that fallen Christian, consider that person a hypocrite, and then conclude that "Christians" are no better than the rest of the world that is living in sin!

Furthermore, we hurt ourselves when we break His commandments and fall into sin. Every Christian must therefore strive to become AN OVERCOMER over those personal temptations and challenges in our lives, both for our own soul's sake, and in order to glorify God in this world around us.

What can we do today, that will inspire others to desire to follow Jesus Christ?

Many people, in studying the truth about the plans to initiate and install a NEW WORLD ORDER, have concluded they are going to fight this with worldly weapons and methods primarily. 

And so, they have their emergency food supplies, their weapons of self- defense, their "bug-out bags," and other emergency preparations all in place (or so they hope.)

But such well-meaning preppers are totally missing out, IF they are not putting their trust in God through faith in Jesus Christ FIRST, for VICTORY over satan's plans.

Jesus Christ declared, "But seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and ALL THESE THINGS will be added unto you."

He also warned, "But what shall it profit a man if he gain the WHOLE WORLD, but lose his soul?"

I know of people who have nuclear fallout bunkers installed in their homes. They have years of emergency food supplies and survival equipment on hand. And none of this is bad of itself. In fact, it is very wise to prepare as we perceive what is coming.

But what does any of this preparation profit in the end, IF that person does not have ETERNAL SALVATION through Jesus Christ??? 

Many well-meaning people plan to stand bravely against the dark intentions of the NWO agenda for America, and the world as well. They may have their survival supplies stored up, even their pre-fab nuclear fallout shelter installed in their back yards. BUT if they do NOT have salvation through Jesus Christ, what does it profit them? 

Some people will die in the coming confrontations as they battle the darkness, in spite of their preparations. The most prudent thing for anyone to do is to make sure they are RIGHT WITH GOD, and have salvation through Jesus Christ FIRST. And then, as the Bible promises, everything else will fall into place.

Satan's deluded followers have repeatedly announced their intentions to force the entire world under the iron yoke of enslavement to Lucifer's reign of terror on earth, enforced by his followers. Every satanist worth their title that I have interviewed in the past, openly admitted that the term "NEW WORLD ORDER" or "GLOBALISM" referred to Satan's kingdom manifested on earth.

The "NEW WORLD ORDER" is the kingdom of darkness referred to in Revelation 13, in fact. It is the final kingdom of unsaved mankind to be manifested on this earth, until Jesus Christ returns to set up His glorious and eternal kingdom on earth and to abolish Satan and his followers from this world forever.

And so, the NWO is Satan's kingdom making war against the Lamb and His followers, THE CHRISTIAN DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST. 

"These shall make war with the Lamb, 

and the Lamb will overcome them, 

for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, 

and they that are with Him are 

CALLED, CHOSEN and FAITHFUL." 

Revelation17:14

And because of this, WE HAVE HOPE! For Jesus Christ has already overcome Satan and the world. And as we follow Him and His teachings and appropriate His eternal promises, WE SHALL COMPLETELY OVERCOME also.

"And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of their testimony, and because they loved not their lives unto the death."

From Revelation12:11

Remember: the inheritance of the child of God, and the right to reign with Jesus Christ, depend on our OVERCOMING THROUGH JESUS CHRIST and His blood and applying His promises given to every one of us.

As we see so many alarming events approaching in today's world, seek God today for the grace to become a true OVERCOMER in today's world, so that you too may INHERIT ALL THINGS. 

His grace is sufficient.

Today I looked in despair at a pile of letters from my readers all over the USA. I always take the time to write back, and to send thank you cards expressing appreciation as well. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have not been able to until now. I just got my SUV back from repairs, after waiting for almost a week. I therefore was unable to purchase postage stamps or mail anything. 

Also, my life has been very stressful as I work with John to help his body heal by providing health food supplements for him. Being hit with an unexpected repair bill for $2,250.00 for recent transmission work and repairs was not on my personal agenda either!

I was able to pick up my mail today, and received a letter from a reader asking why I had not taken the time to write back to him recently. Well, all of the above is the reason. I have been stretched to the max, and simply was not able to do any correspondence until now.

And so, dear readers, tomorrow I will be sitting down with your kind letters and then writing my own letters and cards back in response...finally!

Thank you so much for your understanding and patience in all this! I so appreciate your letters of encouragement and support, and so does John as well. Thank you again! May God bless you all...I am keeping you all in my prayers daily.

Encouragement for Our Troubled Times

I want this website to be a source of ENCOURAGEMENT to the people of God, and not only a blog discussing troubling times coming to the world and our nation. 

From the beginning of creation, disaster and tragedy has filled the history of mankind. Wars, famines, sickness and sorrows have afflicted people in every generation. When Jesus Christ declared to His disciples, "In the world you SHALL have tribulation..." He meant it. Trials and tribulations in this present world are inescapable.

But what do we look for when tragedy and sorrows come to our lives? Do we look for more despair and darkness? No. Instead, we diligently search for HOPE in our crisis. We look for healing, for miracles, for solutions and for comfort in our afflictions.

During this past month of multiple challenges and pain and emotional stress, I deliberately did not spend much time on other "conspiracy" alternative news websites.Why? Because I knew that, due to the nature of the subject matter they reported on, they would contain primarily "bad news." 

The dark future for America (and the world.) The potential for financial and economic collapse. GMO foods poisoning America. Obamacare. More and more freedoms being taking away from the American people. There is no end to the bad news for our nation!

But that is exactly WHY God sent His only begotten Son into our world! He came to bring mankind HOPE to a troubled world filled with suffering and danger and pain and heartache and death.

And although this kind of "alternative news" information is important, is basically true and we need to understand what is happening in our nation today, there are also even greater realities to focus on as well. 

The most important reality is, that Almighty God sits enthroned above His creation. His kingdom is everlasting and unshakable. God cannot be defeated. He has sent His Son Jesus the Christ into His creation to bring LIFE and HEALTH and HEALING and HOPE to this world. And although the nations may rage and earthly kingdoms may fall, Jesus Christ remains LORD OF ALL!

For the Christian, our hope remains ETERNAL and unchanging. OUR GOD REMAINS THE SAME! Death itself cannot take away our promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Savior. 

Will America collapse someday? Will this nation be judged with war and famine and suffering? Will persecution come to the saints of God here? Yes, these things may all come to pass in America someday, but we can never allow our faith to be shaken by things present nor things to come.

For 18 years now, I have devoted my life to waking up my fellow Christians to urgent truths they need to understand and comprehend about America's planned future. I know God called me to this, many years ago. But it doesn't stop there.

There is no point of giving people the BAD news, without countering this with THE GOOD NEWS and providing AN ANSWER to this present darkness. And that answer is found forevermore in the timeless and unchanging promises found in the Word of God.

"And this is the victory that OVERCOMES THE WORLD, even our FAITH."

God desires to raise up victorious OVERCOMERS in this hour! A people who are not afraid to face the future, as they gird themselves with strength and courage through spending time in His word and in prayer. A people filled with HOPE that no matter what the future may hold, Jesus still controls their ultimate destiny.

The Book of Hebrews(chapter 11) contains a passage illustrating the vital importance of FAITH in order to overcome this dark world. The term "BY FAITH" is written 15 times. The words "THROUGH FAITH" is written three times.

In fact, Paul writes that without FAITH it is impossible to please God. Read the following words of encouragement illustrating the importance of FAITH in overcoming the world:

Hebrews 11:32-39a

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith......

Let me tell you something: it is the devil's intention to strip you of your faith and your hope! The enemies of Christianity want to create negative circumstances designed to cause you to lose hope and fall away from the Christian faith.

DON'T FALL INTO THAT TRAP!

Instead, spend much time building up your faith by reading the word of God and taking time to pray and be in His Presence. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit and POWER. Cover your life and destiny with the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. Use the spiritual authority God has given to you through Jesus His Son, to subdue satan and his plans beneath your feet.

Alternative news websites are important, because they expose the truth that conventional government-controlled media will not tell the American people. We all need to KNOW THE TRUTH. Jesus promised that we would know the truth, and the truth would set us free. Alternative news media strives to make the truth known to society.

But it is vitally important to then go beyond such information, to the GREATER TRUTH that provides THE ANSWER to life's problems. To the truth that sets men free eternally, and provides HOPE in the midst of the darkness. 

"Father, sanctify them by the truth:

Thy word is TRUTH."~Jesus Christ

And for everything dark and foreboding that you read in alternative news websites, GOD HAS AN ANSWER!

As important as alternative news media information may be, do NOT allow the "bad news" to rob you of your joy, your hope and YOUR FAITH! Personally, I never allow this happen in my life. I refuse to be defeated by the bad news!

The news of this world changes daily. But the news from God's heavenly kingdom and His word remains steadfast and forever true. Nations and kingdoms may rise and fall, but God's kingdom remains an EVERLASTING KINGDOM.

It is good to research and to adequately prepare for life's challenges. America's PREPPERS have the right idea. They have done their research, and they are preparing to face the future with everything they may need to overcome and survive. This is Scriptural and this is wise. The Bible declares that the wise foresee trouble coming, and they prepare....but the fool ignores the warning and suffers for it.

It is wise to spend time researching alternative news in order to better understand what is happening in our nation and in the world today.

Coming to God in prayer for the answers to all life's problems.

However, for the Christian, our major focus must be spending time with Him Who holds the answers for all our life's problems, our fears and our concerns. 

No matter how dark the future of this world may appear, God will always give His people HOPE!

World and national events may change continually, but Almighty God's message of HOPE FOR THE WORLD remains the same forever!

If you have allowed the bad news of today's world to overwhelm you, come to Jesus today in prayer for refreshing and encouragement in His Presence! Worship at His feet, and let His love and comfort surround you. Let His Holy Spirit fill you with peace and joy and love in this hour.

"PEACE I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give unto you. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid."

-John 14:27-

Let us strive to become as the little lamb in the loving arms of the Good Shepherd, surrounded with His peace, protection and comfort.

God has safely brought His people through wars, famines, and crises in every generation throughout earth's history, and He will bring His people triumphantly through the tribulations of our generation as well, as we look to His Son Jesus Christ for HOPE.

Our Glorious Hope in This Dark World

So often in this world, events that occur in our lives remain an enigma, a mystery shrouded in the shadows of uncertainty. We do not understand why something happens, or how God could allow something to happen. Often events and circumstances in our lives make no sense to the human reasoning, even from Biblical perspectives.

During troubling  times like this in each of our lives, we must take time to seek the heart of God through Jesus Christ, and bring our questions to Him for understanding. 

The Bible declares that God is Omniscient, or all-knowing. There is nothing hidden from Him! And whenever men do not have the answers to life, God does.

This past month has become one of the most challenging times in my entire Christian walk. While driving across America to spend time with my ill brother John, I suffered the most painful injury ever experienced in my life. 

And it happened in the midst of a very Scriptural action. I was thinking about donating my new printer to the Christian ranch, CHANGING GAITS in Minnesota, to assist them in their work.

Digging through my possessions in my u-haul, I finally located the large printer. But it was in an awkward location, requiring much twisting and turning to lift and move it. And that is when the painful and debilitating brachial plexus nerve injuries occurred in my neck, shoulder and left arm, even going down into my chest.

The pain was excruciating, to the point that I could not even lay down to sleep at night without intense pain preventing all rest. Numbness and tingling and weakness accompanied the pain. Even the act of sitting up to drive my vehicle was agonizing. I had to prop my left arm up on a pillow, and apply pain-soothing lotions to my entire left shoulder and arm. 

Both ibuprofen, aspirin and prayer flowed freely, in order to enable me to endure the journey.The pain was so bad I could only drive about 200 miles a day, making my thousand mile journey from Minnesota to North Carolina a 5 day trip. Sleep at night was impossible. No matter what position I tried to lay down in, the pain was persistent and exhausting.

 As I traveled, I remembered meditating about the irony that, even as I had been fulfilling God's word to support His children in ministry by searching for a gift to donate to them, I severely injured myself in the process. Almost feeling like I somehow had been rewarded evil for good. 

Trusting in God at all times.

But deep within, I felt that God had a purpose in allowing this to happen. I just didn't know what it was as I drove. But I have learned throughout 42 years of serving God, that I must trust and praise Him regardless of my circumstances. He is our light in the darkness of this world's trials and circumstances beyond our control.

That hidden purpose became abundantly clear the night I came to see my brother John in the nursing home. 

A concerned care provider taking care of John came to me and said, "You need to see John's leg: this is just not right...something needs to be done for him." I walked with her to John's bed. She pulled the blanket up, and another care giver held up his leg for me to see. I was horrified to see his foot covered with three bedsores, no bandages or protection on them whatsoever. They were all infected, to the extent that his leg was infected all the way up to the knee.

Deep anger came over me as I realized that this was a clear case of gross neglect and malpractice on the part of this nursing home. Immediately, I went to the nurse's station and demanded to know what they had done for John's infected leg. The nurse in charge acted afraid to even talk to me, finally saying, "nothing...."

 I demanded that an ambulance be called immediately, to take him to the emergency room of a nearby hospital. They came for John, and I followed to join him in the emergency room. Life-saving procedures began immediately as intravenous drip antibiotics were introduced into his system.

John was admitted into the hospital that night, and emergency surgery was performed after an MRI and x-rays were taken of the infected areas. Thankfully, the surgery was total success. Necrotic and infected tissues were removed, even a small foreign metal object also. The antibiotics continued to be administered after his surgery. Finally, John was recovered enough to leave the hospital and go to a new nursing home.

Dr. Stover, his surgeon at Park Ridge hospital, admitted to me following surgery, that IF I had arrived to see John only a few days later, JOHN WOULD HAVE DIED FROM TERMINAL INFECTION. It would have been too late to save his life.

And suddenly, it all made perfect sense to me. The strange accident I suffered, that was so painful that my prayer journey was forced to be cut short, was no accident in the sight of Almighty God.

Before my injury in Minnesota, I had planned to take several weeks longer on my journey to North Carolina and to visit John. Plans had been made to visit my former Bible college for prayer, and to pray in the Washington DC area, and more.

But all of that came to a sudden halt following my lifting injury, making a prolonged trip impossible due to pain. I had to cut everything short and make every effort to arrive in North Carolina as quickly as possible.

None of this made any sense at that time. I felt deeply disappointed that this prayer journey was cut short unexpectedly. 

But as I stood talking to John's doctor in the hospital that day following his successful surgery, everything became perfectly clear at last. God had indeed allowed this accident to happen, for the very purpose of saving John's life!

As I began to realize, I praised God for allowing this to happen, and how He used this for His glory to rescue his child John. I also understood that it would only be a matter of time before I would be healed completely. I remembered one verse in the Bible that illustrated this:

-Hosea 6:1-

"Come , and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn , and He will heal us; He hath smitten , and He will bind us up ."

Studying God's word and spending much time in prayer over all of this shed light on this situation, and opened my understanding to the often hidden purposes of Almighty God.

It is no wonder that the Psalmist David wrote that God's word is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet.

Furthermore, spending time in prayer and allowing the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom and understanding will also open our eyes. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit of God will lead us into all truth.

"But when He, 

the Spirit of truth, comes, 

He will guide you into all the truth. 

He will not speak on his own; 

He will speak only what He hears, 

and He will tell you what is yet to come."

-John 16:13-

I am able to sit and write this article today, because my body is finally completely pain free at last. What a relief! When suffering from constant pain, emotionally and physically exhausted, and furthermore burdened by a brother who remains in pain and in a nursing home, it is admittedly hard to find the strength to write an inspirational article for my readers.

But something wonderful has happened since this accident, and I finally feel recovered completely now and back to normal. How great is our Living God of mercy and miracles!

And of course, I KNOW that so much of this healing has been because of the prayers of my readers all across the nation and the world. I want to take the time to thank each one of you for your prayers and love that truly have made a difference for John and I. And also for your support that has been critical at this time of transition for me.

Because of your support, my brother is also doing so much better than previously. I have been able to purchase important vitamin and protein supplements to help rebuild his health, thanks to your support. Institutional food will never supply many of the critically needed vitamins and supplements necessary for full recovery. Daily, I notice improvements in his health, slowly but surely.

And tomorrow, Thursday, I will finally be able to pick up my vehicle from the repair shop. They had to take an extra day due to difficulties with severely rusted bolts having to be removed. It is only because of the mercy of God manifested through my readers' kindness that I will have sufficient funds to pay for the repairs and transmission work.

Praise God for His infinite wisdom and mercies! And I thank God for you ALL as well.

Without your prayers and support, none of this would have been possible.

God dwells in the praises of His people.

Are you going through difficult times also? Have troubling events occurred recently in your life that simply make no sense, and that you simply cannot understand at this time? 

Keep trusting in the Lord, and give Him all your hurt and pain and questions through prayer and spending time in His Presence. Take time to read His word, and to meditate of timeless truths revealed therein. 

He will meet you there, and fill you with His compassion and love, His mercies and His strength to face and overcome your crisis.

This is exactly what He has done for me at this very challenging time in my life. And what He has just done for me, He will abundantly do for you as well. His mercies never fail.

When the dark storm clouds hovering over your life threaten to obscure the sunlight, 

look beyond to the glorious rainbow,

 signifying the eternal PROMISES OF ALMIGHTY GOD!
