My Greatest Challenge Now

By Pamela Rae Schuffert presenting investigative journalism from a Biblical Christian perspective-

WINTER IS FINALLY HERE!!!

Winter in the mountains of North Carolina

I am now approaching my tenth month of living in my vehicle as my only home. (This time around. I began living out of my vehicle in order to be able to afford to perform this journalism since 2001,  with only brief reprieves in friend's homes since then.)

The RV I had invested $2,500 in last December of 2012 was seized by the seller when my monthly payment was late only a week, due to a failed work commitment by my former patient I had been working for. When I promised him the payment the following week, he became threatening, cancelled his sales agreement with me, and seized the RV that I had already paid him $2,500 for.

I had no funds for legal recourse, and fearing retaliation and his threats, I was forced to move out. I have been living in my vehicle ever since March of 2013 now.

"Car camping" always becomes more challenging in the winter months, of course. It is cost prohibitive to run the engine for heat at night due to the high cost of gas, and so I sleep under my sleeping bag at night in my unheated vehicle.

The challenges of "car camping" include finding a safe location in which to park every night, with a clean restroom available as well. There is no kitchen to cook in, no refrigerator to store food in, no bathroom to take a shower in, no easy chair to relax in at the end of a tiring day. I must put up window shades in each window every night for privacy.

Even though I have a camp stove, in the winter it is frequently too cold to stand outside a use a camp stove to cook on.

Of course, with only thin window glass separating you from everything outside your vehicle, safety is always a major concern.
Four-season truck camper, can be used with or without truck.

I have praying for several months now for the grace of  God to make provision to obtain a truck and camper at this time, so that I can finally have a kitchen and bathroom in my vehicle.

One person offered to pay rent for me for a room. I was very thankful, but politely declined. I do not believe in paying rent for a place to live in. Why? You have nothing to show for your money when you move out. How much better it is to be making monthly payments instead on that which is yours to own instead. This is why I will never pay rent.

The Bible declares that "..the just shall live by faith." The Word of God also declares that God will supply our needs according to our riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God...and His words include His eternal promises for our provision as we obey and serve Him.

When Jesus Christ promised His disciples that those who initially forsook what they had in this world to follow Him, they would receive a hundredfold in this world, and in the world to come eternal life. And He clearly referred to "houses and lands" as well.

I am at the point where it is difficult to move forward in the things God has called me to do, due to having no home base to operate from. I recently had to give away a beautiful new printer/copy machine, because I had no where to set it up to operate it. I had purchased it initially to print my Christian testimony tracts to hand out as I traveled and ministered. But such work simply cannot be done inside a vehicle satisfactorily.
Truck with camper.

For this and many other reasons, I have been praying for the grace of God to help me locate a truck and camper to obtain, to live out of and continue my work in. I must remain mobile for my journalism and Christians outreach. While I am able to sleep in my present vehicle I have now, I can do little else in it besides travel.

As I thought about this and prayed, I remembered how I had previously given away a complete RV to one Christian couple in crisis, Bob and Amy. I had also given away several cars to other Christians in crisis. Jesus promised in His word that the measure we give, is the measure we shall also receive. This is His spoken word of promise, given to us for times of need.

Simply pray with me that God will manifest His mercy and His way of providing for  this need at this time. I am very weary of living like this in my vehicle now since March. You really cannot get a deep rest when you sleep at a truck stop or rest area, because you always have to remain on guard due to unknown safety hazards involving both people and vehicles constantly around you.

Also, the noise of trucks and their engines running all night is inescapable, plus the sounds of traffic nearby operating 24 hours a day.

As I travel across the nation, I often pass by storage areas where people have stored their RV's and campers. Many are literally mothballed there, and only used a few weeks a year for a vacation. And with some older couples, some recreation vehicles are not being used at all.

Pray with me that God will fulfill the promise of His eternal word. Pray that  the mercies I have shown to many others throughout the years will be multiplied back unto me to meet this very important need at this time. I promised a Christian woman in ministry, Cisco Wheeler, who recently lost her own vehicle to a tragic accident, that I would give her my SUV to support her ministry, when God provides me with an Arctic Fox camper and truck as a "home to go home to" at last.

(Arctic Fox campers are 4 season and designed to be lived in year round. Many campers however are not, and their pipes will freeze up in the winter time. It is always important to have a four season recreational vehicle if a person plans to live in it year round.)

Yes, in the meantime I am making the very most of what God has provided for me. We must all do this with what God has provided for us. I am thankful every single day for what I have.

But put yourself in my place. What would you do without a kitchen to cook in, without a bathroom to take a warm shower in or relieve yourself, and without a haven of rest, safety and refuge to get away from the noises and chaos of the world around you???

And so, your prayers of faith for this need to be supplied are deeply appreciated at this time. I continue to believe God for great miracles, including John's recovery and miracles for him beyond what men can do. And I believe in the promises of God for what we need to continue in His important work in this lost world of today.

Somehow, as I see friends and people around me living in $250,000.00 or more homes and driving cars that cost three times what mine did, I do not have a problem asking God to provide something as simple and basic as this.

Thank you for your prayers...and let's see what our Almighty God will do in response. John and I are praying for the readers of my blog every time I spend time with him. God bless you all!

Honestly, I am so thankful for your support at this time, just to have food and gas and to be able to provide for John's health and other needs. It has always been difficult to find employment in this region, and I so want to relocate to a much larger metropolitan area, the city of Charlotte, wherein I was successfully employed in the past before I began this career of journalism in 1996. All of this has been so challenging for me.

However, I KNOW from 42 years of the Christian walk, that God has a plan for His glory in ALL of this! Halleluia!

My dear long-term friend and church elder (Christ Community Church at Montreat), Brother Edward Brouwer, can certainly confirm all I have shared about my present living circumstances. He came out to visit brother John recently and to pray with us both. He is an incredibly gifted man of God, with a heart of gold, and has observed my walk with Christ for a long time now. If anyone questions what I have shared above, Edward can provide confirmation. Edward can be reached at 1-828-669-7577.

The bottom line in all this is, I BELIEVE GOD. I have served Him for 42 years now, and I have never known His promises to ever fail. He has promised to supply the needs of His servants who put Him first, and I confess by faith that what I have prayed for will be provided in His perfect timing. In the mean time, I am exceedingly thankful for what I have and for the support of God's people.

Let us take hands together by faith through prayer, and seek God for His merciful provision at this time, only so that I am better equipped to perform full time ministry and to advance with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the precious remaining time of freedom we have left in North America.

Thank you!-Pamela Rae and Brother John

My Miracle of Healing at LAST!

"By Whose stripes you were healed,
by Whose stripes you ARE healed."

By Pamela Rae Schuffert presenting investigative journalism from a Biblical Christian perspective-

It has been many years since I struggled with such persistent and ongoing pain and troubling symptoms in my body. But this attack on my health was most upsetting because it affected my ability to blog and to minister with my hands in Christian music and other capacities using my hands.

God's ways are so amazing! He is a God Who honors our faith, commitment and obedience to Him. And Who hears our heart's cries and answers our prayers!

Last Friday (10/25/2013), in spite of still being in great pain and feeling very weary from continually battling it, I felt the leading of God to drive throughout the Asheville area to pray against the spiritual darkness and against all Halloween horrors of the satanists so prevalent throughout this region. I knew from years of journalism and Christian outreach in this region, that many unfortunate victims were scheduled to die at their  ruthless hands this Halloween season.

Frankly, when you know what I know, you simply can't stop praying about all this. I never do stop praying.

There will come times in all our Christian lives, when we must do the things God is leading us to do, no matter how difficult it may be due to various circumstances.

Jesus remains our example. He had to go to Jerusalem to face a most terrible death for our sins on the cross. In the garden, even He cried out for this cup to pass, if possible. It was not easy for Jesus to press on to the destiny God had for Him that fateful Passover season. But He knew He had to do this, because it was the will of God and His destiny as well.

In spite of my pain, I knew that God was leading me to do this Friday, and so I prayed for strength and the the pain to abate, and began my prayer drive throughout this region. This is also when I met with Christian Officer Keith in  downtown Asheville, as the following article declares. We also prayed together against Asheville satanism and for the intended victims to be delivered from death at their hands this Halloween.

Would you believe that I also met a person  last Friday who had been following my reports?

Two paramedics, parked next to Officer Keith downtown (in case of any accidents or medical crises that often can occur as people carouse on a Friday night in Asheville,) talked to me as well. One, after listening to me for a while, asked if I were that woman who wrote the article "Asheville Satanism." He then asked if it really were all true.

I replied that I was the author, and that it was unfortunately all true. But that such articles were written to wake up the Body of Christ and to motivate them to heart-felt prayer against the spiritual darkness prevalent in this region.

That paramedic then shared how a friend of his, who is now a Pentecostal pastor, Rob Taylor, had a frightening but revealing experience in Asheville that opened his eyes to satanism in this region.
Ceili's Castle on Town Mountain road, Asheville, NC

When Rob was a high school student, he and some friends decided they would climb over the grim metal fence surrounding Ceili's Castle on Town Mountain Road, to see if satanists and human sacrifice really did take place there as many suspected. (It's a miracle they ever lived to tell the tale!)

As they were walking towards the forbidding castle, Rob and his friends were soon confronted with men in black satanist robes carrying firearms. They were ordered to leave at gunpoint, and ran to get out of there.

The paramedic told me that what frightened Rob the most, was when he and his friends received letters in the mail a few days later, giving their names, social security numbers and dates of birth, and warning them to never return again. They then realized how heavily monitored this grim stone castle really was! This all  happened when Jerry Sternberg still owned this building.

What an interesting conversation I enjoyed with them on Friday in downtown Asheville at Pritchard Park.

Pritchard Park on a typical Friday night.

But what was even more amazing was when I returned to the nursing home where John is to spend time with him that night. How much better my neck, shoulder and arm felt! So much of the lingering pain was gone.

And today, Sunday, I believe that I am finally healed of every painful symptom I have suffered from previously. I have wept as I prayed previously, asking God to take away the pain and the paralysis and numbness in my left arm and hand. I told Him that I could not continue in ministry as before, with these debilitating handicaps.

In fact, this is why you have not seen many reports in recent weeks since I got here. Every day and every hour had been an ongoing battle with pain and strange symptoms I have never had before in my body. Recurring numbness and terrible pains in parts of my neck, shoulder arm and wrist were all making it impossible to write articles.

And by this time, none of it was of God. It became obvious to me that satan was working overtime to stop me from being effective in this region. I also know how satanists operate when attacking their opponents. They hold rituals in which they summon demons of pain, sickness and death to attack those they target.

Can Christians come under such deliberate attacks? Yes, and many do. But, they don't have to stay under attack! That is what spiritual warfare is all about, and why we are commanded to put on the full armor of God and to resist the adversary effectively using the weapons God has given us through Christ Jesus. We are to use THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB and the WORD OF GOD and the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST in battling this kind of enemy.

And the Bible promises us, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." And that is exactly what has happened. As I prayed against the spiritual darkness in this region on Friday, the powers of darkness also oppressing me and attacking my health also departed in Jesus' mighty Name.

I distinctly began getting better Friday evening, and even told a Christian nurse friend of mine as we at dinner together. She noticed how much better I was than a few weeks ago when we met and had dinner together. It abruptly ended when my pain became unbearable.

And now today, Sunday, I can honestly say that I feel 99 percent healed, with only a trace of minimal soreness as the natural healing process progresses. What a relief! Praise The Lord God the Almighty! Praise His Son Jesus Christ for the power of HIS STRIPES WHICH HEAL US!

John and I are now spending time listening to Christian Gospel music and have our own church service right in his room, as we spend time in prayer for this nation and for our many needs. John remains an invalid, confined to a bed or wheelchair, and also battling recurring pain. But he now has hope as he witnesses Jesus healing me.

Thank you for your prayers for John and I, as we press on towards overcoming and victory through Jesus our Savior. By His stripes, we can ALL be healed and set free, and that includes you as well. Never give up, and keep on persevering in your faith and your prayers! God WILL come through for you. He cannot fail you.

He remains incapable of failure.

Your Prayers Are Being Answered Mightily!

By Pamela Rae Schuffert presenting investigative journalism from a Biblical Christian perspective-

If your prayers for me were not being answered, I would not be able to type this article with two hands today, or even at all. All this week, I have been forced off the Internet because of deep pain in my neck, shoulders and arms/wrists.

And then, a miracle occurred. My hands and wrists are immensely improved, and able to be mobile at last, although for limited times. While still experiencing pain in my left shoulder and neck, it has reduced considerably. And I know it is because of PRAYER. Brachial plexus injuries can take a long time to recover from completely. The same is true with carpal tunnel syndrome as well.

I admit I still have lingering numbness in sections of my left forearm and left thumb, but yet am able to use them.

But I have been pleading with God all week long for a miracle and divine healing. Many severe challenges and hardships are inevitably coming to our nation. I have a brother who needs my assistance. I frankly admitted to God how difficult it is to think of facing these things, with such debilitating pain that is so limiting to my activities. I reminded Him that I could not continue blogging or performing music for His glory, nor work to help support my brother, without healing. And then, I stood on His eternal word of promise.

Based upon His eternal word that cannot fail, I knew that eventually healing would come. Sometimes God chooses to heal miraculously and instantaneously, and other times He works gradually through natural healing processes. But regardless  of how He chooses to work and be glorified in our lives, He remains the Lord God Who heals us through Jesus Christ His Son. I am now so much better! Halleluia!

However, an even greater miracle has occurred, that of my brother's gradual but steady recovery. His doctor at the excellent new health care facility, Dr. Culver, visited John today. He was quite pleased with his healing progress.

Dr. Culver with my brother John today

Dr. Culver is a committed Christian doctor, who makes no effort to hide his Christian faith and commitment (thankfully.) He gives God the glory for my brother's excellent progress in recovery. John is doing very well today, in fact. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for John's recovery and excellent care in this quality health care facility!

Dr.Culver examines John

Committed (and pretty!) nurses also make John's life better

I remain forever thankful to my wonderful readers for helping this miracle possible. Had I not been able to check up on John when I did, he would have died from gross negligence and malpractice at his previous nursing home.  I am following up legally on this as well, having contacted his social worker, and ombudsman for this region.

No helpless patient should ever suffer from neglect in any nursing home, ever. But sadly, it does happen at times, worldwide. I remain outraged that neither his former nursing home nor social worker ever informed me of his life-threatening condition previously. I had been falsely reassured that "John was just fine."

But now, thanks to the mercies of Almighty God, John IS doing fine.

And I am slowly but surely recovering from my injuries as well.

Praise God for His wonderful mercies and kindnesses! And thank YOU ALL for your continuing prayers that helped to enable these miracles of grace to happen, because God DOES answer prayer!

God bless you all, and bring you and your loved ones safely through America's future.

Please PRAY for Little Patrick

George H. W. Bush Sr. with little Patrick

Little Patrick is a very special young man. He needs your prayers. He is only two years old, and has been diagnosed with LEUKEMIA. Due to chemotherapy, his hair is sadly falling out. But he is a very brave little man who needs our love and our prayers!

Another thing that makes little Patrick very special, is that his daddy works for the SECRET SERVICE. And amazingly,  his daddy is actually a part of the Secret Service security detail that watches over GEORGE H. W. Bush Senior.

To show their solidarity with little Patrick, all the men in this SS detail decided to shave their heads as well! And this also includes George H. W. Bush.

G.H.W.Bush and his SS security brigade  with shaved heads, and little Patrick in the front/middle

You know, maybe God is using the plight of a precious little boy to touch the heart of G. H. W. Bush Sr.

Bush Senior is aging, and may not have many more years left on this earth. My prayer from my heart is that Mr. Bush may find peace with God at last, and forgiveness for all his sins, just like my father also did 6 months before he died.

I hope that God chooses to use little Patrick to touch the heart of Bush and his entire SS security, by granting a wondrous miracle of divine healing to precious Patrick. May God touch Patrick's family as well through much divine intervention and grace. I was once dying and considered incurable by my two doctors, and that is when Jesus Christ stepped into my life, and healed me completely after I received Him as my Lord and Savior in 1971.
Jesus loves the children

Can we all join our hands and hearts together in praying for God to be glorified through this little child??? As the Bible once said, "And a little child shall lead them." I pray that God uses this special child for His glory and reaches down to heal Patrick, not only changing his life forever, but the lives of all those around him ...including George Herbert Walker Bush Sr. as well.

May God be glorified in little Patrick!
