Hello, Siberia! Remembering Christian Martyrs of the Soviet Gulag

Here in the Inupiaq village of Kotzebue, Alaska, I have found myself on the western coast of Alaska. Siberia is only a mere 87 miles away from here or so . As I gaze uneasily across the deeply frozen waters of the Bering Straits, I am ever reminded of the terrible sufferings and martyrdom of my fellow Christians, who died under many decades of brutal Communist oppression throughout the Soviet Union.

The names of bleak and harsh gulags are burned into my memories. Sakhalin, Ussyrisk, Nakhodka, and many other locations to which political and Christian prisoners of the faith were exiled. Thanks to my former training in the Slavic Gospel Association's Institute of Slavic Studies under Peter Deyneka Sr/Jr(both now deceased), I had gained an excellent background to better understand communism in Russia, and how it affected Christians in opposition to it's teachings and principles and demands.

My heart began to break as a whole new world began to open to me, that of the oppressed under communism in the former Soviet Union. Religious liberties I had taken for granted in my native land America, were forbidden under communism. And those who chose to bravely oppose this terrible darkness, often paid the price with their sufferings and their lives as well.

While many Christians in the West sang hymns about living and suffering for Jesus Christ in their churches every Sunday WHILE living under freedom, the Christians in Russia under communism were living out that suffering every single day. I realized that I needed to stand in solidarity with the Christians under communism who were suffering for their faith.

Therefore, for years I wrote letters in Russian to Christian heroes of the faith sentenced to long imprisonment terms in these gulags and other prisons. Their names are fresh in my memories: Galina Vilchinskaya, sentenced to six years in the gulags for the "crime" of printing New Testaments in an underground press. Her health was badly affected in the gulag, with teeth rotting and falling out, weakness setting in due to harsh work in the labor camp and poor nutrition. How I prayed for Galina during those years of imprisonment, along with many other Christians who also deeply cared. She finally emerged alive, and safely then came to America.

Georgii Vins was a Russian Baptist pastor, sentenced to five years in the gulags for his Christian witness in the face of communist repression. I was later to meet Georgii Vins at the Russian Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Center in Ashford, Connecticut, (as seen below) and his wife as well. Vins was one of the millions of true Christian heroes of the faith.

For many years I had worked at this Russian-Ukrainian Baptist Christian Center (above), at their summer camp to minister to young Russians out of New York City, mostly unbelievers from communist backgrounds when they arrived at our camp. Every summer I enjoyed having young Russian children to take care of for several months. and every summer, so many of them actually discovered the reality of God and His Son Jesus Christ! This was a time in my life that I can never forget, working with these precious Russian youth. I love and pray for them to this day.

Many Christians were brutally tortured and martyred under communism in those grim gulags. One brave man, Odintsov, was literally eaten alive by dogs in the gulag. Others were forced into Soviet psychiatric units and forced on mind-control drugs and to undergo brutal and inhumane treatments by the communists.

For years I relied on the Russian Baptist publication, Bratskiy Vestnik, to keep me informed about Russian Christian prisoners of the faith in prisons and gulags. I used this information to fast and pray for their well-being and for their deliverance as well.

I often visited Russian churches in America, to meet wonderful Christians who told me first hand of overcoming brutal communist persecutions.I stayed with one family, that of Walter and Nina Bagrin.

I can never forget visiting their home in Canada, where the wife Nina was crying one day as she held a letter in her hand. I asked her why she was crying. She told me it was because of what the letter said.

A friend back in Russia shared how a young Pentecostal man, only 17 years old, was discovered brutally beaten and then burned to death with a blowtorch, his body then trashed in a public restroom in that city. A note accompanied his dead body, stating that "...THIS is what happens to every man who refuses the draft into the Russian Army." He was a conscientious objector as a Christian, and had refused the draft. And sadly, paid the terrible price, Communist-style.

My Christian readers in North America, many of you have no realistic concept of what Christians have and are suffering even now for their faith under communist oppression. We have been spoiled here in North America by 400 years of religious freedom and liberties. My Pilgrim ancestors played a direct role in establishing this nation as "one nation under God..." and you have enjoyed the liberties that their sacrifices and their prayers helped to give birth to in the founding of this nation.

And now, America stands to lose all her heroic founders once labored for, so that we could enjoy the fruits of their labors: FREEDOM. For fifteen long and difficult years, I have struggled to report on the coming AMERICAN HOLOCAUST. Ugly world globalist COMMUNISM ( the NEW WORLD ORDER) is preparing to seize this North American continent, through deep betrayal from both within and without.

America now has her own gulag system firmly in place, through Homeland Security and FEMA camps established to deal with all NWO (communist) resistance under coming MARTIAL LAW.

Major elements of the US military have been recruited, subverted and brainwashed into the NWO ideology, and trained that it is "okay" to arrest and fire upon and transport to the camps ALL AMERICANS who will resist this communist takeover under martial law in the future.

Even Russian spies are bragging to my Russian Christian contacts here in America, saying things like:

"HA! STUPID AMERICANS! As life WAS in Russia, so shall it soon be IN AMERICA!" Sadly, "Boris and Ivan" are correct.

I know the truth about how they have prepared Alaska to become America's future GULAG.

Through research, I have uncovered the presence of prisoner boxcars with shackles already in place in Alaska. One construction worker I interviewed in Montana, Kenny, admitted to me he had met with three metal workers from different states, all of whom admitted they had been hired to weld shackles into prisoner boxcars in Alaska. I have uncovered the fact that several of the military bases closed down (including Fort Greeley) have been converted into future prisoner camps for martial law.

The largest detention camp known to date in North America is located here in Alaska, in a remote area outside Anchorage. It will reportedly hold up to one million prisoners. It boasts a landing strip, a human crematory oven, and railroad tracks that lead to it as well. Ideal, of course, for prisoner boxcars with shackles to bring their hapless NWO resister victims to this gulag-style detention camp. The very type of prisoner bocars with shackles I have been reporting on now for fiften years in fact...

The communists extensively used the railroad systems across the vast Soviet Union to haul their prisoners to the vast gulag system of prisons under decades of communism. Using the railroads to haul prisoner to the detention camps did not begin with the Nazis. Rather, it began with the Russian communists.

Revealing (and deeply disturbing) is the fact that this huge detention camp in Alaska flies both an AMERICAN flag and a RUSSIAN flag, and that Russian military advisers are in charge of this detention camp. How very COMMUNIST POLICE STATE this is, wouldn't you say? And how indicative of the kind of grim repressive future reminiscent of the communist police state they have planned for us.

While I was on radio with Lenny Bloom of CLOAK AND DAGGER broadcast in Toronto, Canada, I was told, "Pam, do you realize that even as we are interviewing you, Russian military under secret contract with the US government are building new detention camp facilities off the coast of Alaska, on some of the Aleutian islands....???" These new detention camps are intended to hold the many Americans expected to rise up in protest under martial law, against the NWO communist police state to be imposed upon our nation in the future.

One Russian source confirmed to me personally what an American military source (Colonel Jim Ammerman) revealed to me: there is a military tunnel beneath the Bering Straits, linking Siberia to Alaska at the closest point. (A joint Russian/American military project) The tunnel was not DUG, but MELTED by an incredible military tool that uses NUCLEAR BORING. It can melt through solid rock at about 6 miles a day. And just as Siberia is not so far away, so perhaps is the time when America under communism, or the New World Order, is not so far away either.

My Concern for the Endangered Inupiaq Here in Alaska

I hope that some local Inupiaq people are reading this article. I am visiting here in Kotzebue, helping a friend who is here for medical purposes to help the Inupiaq in various villages. Her family (she and her two children) and I love these precious people. I have enjoyed meeting them and learning about their culture and traditions. These are a beautiful people and culture and I love them. The elders are precious. The children are adorable. The teens are exuberant, full of hope for tomorrow. Who wouldn't love these people! I love and pray for them continually here.

My constant concern is for their health. The terrible toxins in the oceans are here. These deadly industrial toxins, dumped ceaselessly into the oceans, have travelled to this region of the Arctic and have polluted the waterways of this region and beyond, and the seafood chain is totally corrupted by them now. It is no longer safe to eat the seafood such as maktak (whale blubber), walrus, or seals or most of the fish. There are large numbers of cancer victims among older people here and in many of the villages, potentially much of it due to toxins in the food chain.

And now, radioactive debris is washing ashore here from Japan and the Fukushima nuclear meltdown disaster. Plus the radioactive particles are precipitating down through rain and snow, carried by wind currents. Scientists are testing land mammals and plants now for evidence of how it is affecting them and the food chain here.

Let's be real: it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if even BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (5000 miles away from here), is registering this radiation now, how much MORE so here on the extreme west coast of North America?

I am tired of government lies and cover-up because of the lobbying of the huge food industry corporations. These companies KNOW this radiation is affecting crops and dairy production and seafood, BUT they are secretly demanding that the government and their controlled press and controlled "scientists" cover up THE TRUTH! But this is what our government has become famous for...or infamous? Beware of "official government explanations," folks! (How many more Americans are also tired of this type of tactic of "cover-up?" Hello out there...)

And now from the Fukushima nuclear meltdown from Japan, the deadly radiation is coming here by the ocean and the rain/snow, and animals living on land are endangered as well.

This is their traditional Inupiaq lifestyle, living off the ocean and the other foods available from nature. However, if there is not a change in food patterns and lifestyle, many more will potentially become ill from the effects, have problems relating to the toxicity, and suffer. And some will inevitably die. The problems these ingested toxins create include birth defects, neurological and many other health problems including cancer. This is unspeakably tragic. The Inupiaq did not create this disaster affecting their lifestyle and health, and now they are forced to live with the consequences of "modern industrialized society." In fact, some Inupiaq are very bitter as they too research and realize what has happened.

I will say something that must be said: I am deeply sorry and I am ashamed of what modern civilization has done to affect the Inupiaq and of their people victimized. I am heartsick over what the effects are on the Native peoples here. I am non-Native and I come from a "civilized society". However, it is important to avoid stereotypes. There are the "good, the bad and the ugly" in EVERY society. Many people such as myself are utterly against this horrible polluting of the earth. Many organizations and people are struggling to fight this, who are non-native in background. Toxic pollution of our air and water hurts us ALL, Native and non-native alike.To put it in modern vernacular, "I ain't the one!" If I could stop this pollution TODAY, I would.

But it is time to move beyond feeling resentment (which solves nothing), to DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. And yes, you CAN alter your eating patterns to improve your health and minimize dangers from the toxic environment. The famed Inupiaq are known for surviving many crises and challenges from the environment. They have survived before, and they shall overcome THIS challenge as well, and continue to survive as a people.

What am I doing to overcome the toxic challenge here? While I am living here in Kotzebue, I am very carefully choosing my food and drink. There are water purifying systems you can research and order over the Internet, some based out of Anchorage, that take radiation and toxins out of the water (reverse osmosis and distilling units). Radiation is coming to the water supplies, since the water comes from the local mountains, upon which rain and snow filled with radioactive particles fall. Distilling water and then carbon filtering it will effectively make the water much healthier. There are also inexpensive filter pitchers that do a basic job when finances are limited.

There is an ORGANIC FOOD PROGRAM right here in Kotzebue, where we are ordering organic produce delivered every week here. I try to only eat organic produce, fruits and vegetables, plus organic grains and beans, etc.,so essential for my proper health because of the pesticides used today on produce. But if I cannot find organic, I will use whatever produce and grains/beans and food is available.

However, if you feel you cannot afford organic produce, there is plenty of good produce at the local AC grocery store here in Kotzebue. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and can help you find what you need for your health considerations.There is also rice and beans and grains and oats and pastas and MANY other food items that can replace the sadly toxic traditional ("country") food. I know how hard this can be, changing food lifestyles. For my health, I had to change mine completely, and go to a vegetarian/organic lifestyle. GONE were all the foods I loved to eat! But my health is worth it ALL.And your health is priceless as well.

I have to say with all love and respect to my Inupiaq friends, which is now more important? To preserve traditional eating styles (as important as it may be), or to now preserve the health and lives of yourselves, your children and your elderly at this time? The life of any people is their health. Inupiaqs could face slow genocide due to the toxins in the their traditionally ingested seafood. But this does NOT have to happen.

I have been forced to eliminate the wonderful seafood I love that is found here, and have chosen to consume beans, grains, oats, nuts and seeds and more vegetarian foods instead for health considerations. I would have loved to try traditional seal and whale meat of the Inupiaq. But scientists testing them have found they are very toxic. And the dead seals are washing ashore here with terrible health symptoms that are pointing to radiation sickness.

I love wild Alaskan salmon! (Or USED to.) It was originally touted as one of the safest seafood to consume in the toxic oceans. But now with the ongoing radioactive problem from Fukushima, Japan, pouring radiation into the Pacific ocean, and the ongoing toxin dumping accumulating in the Arctic waters here, how safe can it be now? Especially with radioactive debris washing ashore here in Alaska. Many people already are refusing to buy Alaskan salmon, who previously did so, because of this very real threat, including people I have spoken to.

The government and controlled press, lobbied by the huge food industries, may lie to the American people on many issues, but the vast majority of the American people are not stupid. It is not hard to figure out that we face a severe health crisis because of the radiation from Japan and the toxins in the ocean.

Sorry, seafood industry, but the grim truth is the truth. The health of tens of millions of people is far more important than your making "big Bucks" at the expense of their health and lives.I am now forced to eliminate these foods I have loved and all related for my very health to survive. It is not easy, but it can be done...and it is worth the effort.

Readers may say, "This is EXPENSIVE!" However, go to the local grocery store and check how how expensive THEIR prices for NON-organic foods! And just how important is your health? We ARE what we EAT! And how expensive is the cost of health care when you become ill?

You know what? Give me the pre-industrialized society and lifestyles of the Native peoples that protect and respect the earth ANYDAY, over what "modern civilization" has done to our earth and it's ecosystem and her peoples! I realize that this is their traditional way of life among the Inupiaq. They live off the land and the ocean. However, if this lifestyle is continued with the toxicity here, they will continue to become ill from the toxins in the ocean and in the seafood. This could spell genocide for the Inupiaq and Inuits and all affected peoples at large.

Although cultural change is difficult, changes in food consumption traditions will have to be considered for health reasons and the very survival of this endangered people, the Inupiaq and all Inuits and affected peoples in the Arctic region. May the Inupiaq overcome and survive this challenge and continue long on into the future as an important and vital people and culture in the world today.

It is time for the highly endangered Christians of North America to return to the Amish-type concept of Christian community and self-sustaining independent agricultural communities in today's world. to be preserved from the world's destructive systems. The Amish did what they did in perilous times to survive, and it worked to this very day. They came together as COMMUNITY to stand together! If you've been to the grocery store lately, then you know just how
much food prices are skyrocketing. In fact, the money that got you
four bags of groceries last year will get you only three bags this
year. And now that gas prices are going up almost daily, food
prices will shoot up even more.

But now there's another, far more ominous reason to
home garden.There's a threat emerging that is so
potentially catastrophic,it could literally mean the
collapse of commercial agriculture.

The honeybees are disappearing. In the past few years, we've
been hearing more and more about something called Colony
Collapse Disorder - it's a fancy way of saying that the honeybees
are dying, and we don't know why. But if the decline isn't reversed,
the honeybee could well go the way of the dinosaur.
If that happens, our industrial farming system will completely
collapse.

Commercial farming depends on healthy honeybees.
Bees pollinate over 90 different commercial crops.
Without bees, we would not be able to enjoy things
like grilled summer squash, crisp cold cucumbers,
or sweet, delicious melon. Many people take good
food like this for granted
... and now those foods are at grave risk.

Giant farm conglomerates rent bees from commercial
beekeepers to pollinate their hives. The hives are trucked
to one region, released from the hive to pollinate the crops,
and are packed up again and taken to the next region.

But since 2003, more and more often, farmers have been
opening up their hives to find dead bees or, more often, bees
that just don't return to the hive. That means there are fewer
bees to do more work ... which stresses the bee population
even more.

For a long time, despite numerous theories, nobody knew
what the real cause was.

But now we know.

"Highly toxic" pesticide causing mass
extermination of honeybees

Late 2010, a brave whistleblower leaked a memo from
secret files at the Environmental Protection Agency. That
memo was a smoking gun. For years, the EPA has known
the true cause of the honeybee extinctions. The culprit is a
chemical pesticide, clothianidin. Here's what the EPA's own
internal memo said:

"Clothianidin's major risk concern is to
non-target insects (that is, honey bees).
Clothianidin is a neonicotinoid
insecticide that is both persistent and
systemic. Acute toxicity studies to honey
bees show that clothianidin is highly toxic
on both a contact and an oral basis.
... Information from standard tests and
field studies ... suggest the potential for
long-term risk to honey bees and other
beneficial insects."

This pesticide was approved by the EPA, despite warnings
from some of its own best and brightest scientists. And today,
it's used just as much as ever.

If clothianidin were outlawed tomorrow, could the damage
be reversed? We don't know. But we do know this: if the
honeybee population isn't restored to healthy levels - and quickly
- our nation, not to mention the world, could lose over 90
different crop varieties, because they could no longer be
pollinated on a large scale.

You must understand. Kotzebue is one of many Inupiaq Native villages here in the Arctic North of Alaska. Life in the villages here has always been challenging, with the long Arctic winters and the people traditionally living off what the land and sea provides for them. Imagine the challenges, as temperatures dip to lows such as minus 65 F below zero, with a chill Arctic wind accompanying this.

Imagine the hardships of trying to survive when some homes in some villages do not even have running water or modern toilets (instead, some use "honeybuckets"), and must cut chunks of ice out of the river and stack them up outdoors to melt whenever water is needed. May compassion rise in our hearts as we begin to comprehend what others must often endure and overcome bravely in their challenging lives.

Recently in one village, according to the Anchorage Daily News, their power source for heating went out, and the people were forced to do desperate things, like burn their fish-drying wooden boards just for fuel to survive the bitter cold. These fish-drying boards are essential for them to dry their salmon they catch each summer, so they can store them up for food during the year. Without their drying boards, such activity is impossible.

The precious Inupiaq youth of such villages face many challenges in the 21st century. How important it is to give them a firm foundation in Jesus Christ and the eternal Word of God, so they can face the challenges successfully and avoid the common traps youth face of drugs and many other temptations out there.

Brother Lance and Corina have a VISION from the Holy Spirit, to BUILD A CHRISTIAN CAMP right here, near Kotzebue, in the wildly beautiful and challenging Alaskan Arctic. My blog and accompanying ministry stands proudly beside Pastor Frank Erlandsen and his lovely wife, Ingrid, of Trondheim, Norway. Pastor Frank pastors Bethel Church in Norway. After being out of contact with Pastor Frank and Ingrid for over ten years, I have finally located them through FACEBOOK!

I was privileged to meet this dynamic Christian couple while performing investigative journalism in Germany for 6 months in 2001, my home base then being located in beautiful Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany. Garmisch, located deep in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, is dear to my heart, since I had been raised in Germany during my early years and spent much time on vacations as a young child there.

My never-ending love affair with mountains and coniferous forests of fragrant pine began in fact in Germany as a child. Also my love for spicy German gingerbread houses and cookies as well. This is why I have spent so much time living in lovely MONTANA. It is so much like the Bavarian Alps!

In January of 2001, I flew to Garmisch Partenkirchen, to begin 6 months of investigative journalism and Christian outreach in Germany. My home base would be the Zugspitze campgrounds near the base of the highest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze. My home was a tiny "ski shack" in these campgrounds. I learned to cook all my own food on a tiny camp stove in that little ski hut, surrounded with snow and beauty everywhere.

I had a great need for Christian fellowship there in Garmisch, and somehow happened to locate Pastor Frank's church there at that time. Immediately I was impressed with his sincerity and love of God and the Gospel. Pastor Frank spoke excellent English, as did his lovely wife Ingrid.

So enraptured with Jesus was this young man, that he would often jump around excitedly as he preached the Gospel to the German crowd at his meetings there in Garmisch. Pastor Frank was then associated with JESUS REVOLUTION, a wonderful and uplifting Christian outreach out of Norway. Jesus Revolution would bring young people to perform Christian street outreach in places like Garmisch, in fact. Everyone who came loved this dynamic young preacher filled with such zeal for God. Both He and Ingrid touched the hearts and lives of many, many people in Garmisch through their ministry in those years.

I immediately knew that this young couple was truly following the call of God in their lives, and knew that this was my Pastor while visiting in Germany at that time.

But after 6 months of my living in Germany in 2001, tragedy struck. My mother fell, in June of that year, and had a terrible accident, and I had to fly unexpectedly home to take care of her. I lost all contact with beloved Pastor Frank and Ingrid for over ten years. In vain I sought to find them and re-establish contact. But I never succeeded, to my great sadness. But I kept them faithfully in my prayers repeatedly, knowing the CALL OF GOD was upon their lives.

And then, after deciding I would try to locate them through FACEBOOK, I stumbled upon them (only today!) I was elated. After 10 years of praying for them at a distance but being out of contact, I was able to message them and communicate with this wonderful couple once again! Halleluia! I was thrilled to receive communications back from them at last.

Please pray for beloved Pastor Frank and Ingrid in their much-needed ministry there in Norway. So many people, including among the youth, are lost in that nation. In fact, many church burnings have taken place by dark forces operating today in Norway. There is much spiritual darkness in Norway. Nazism is rising there once again(especially among the youth), as it is in Germany and other parts of Europe.

My fellow Christian readers, let us together take hold of their hands and pray for their church, Bethel, and their critically needed ministry in Norway. We as Christians MUST stand together WORLDWIDE if we are to make the critical difference for Jesus Christ in a lost world!

Pastor Frank and Ingrid, I am proud of you! Continue in your wonderful and dynamic work there in Norway and beyond, throughout all of EUROPE in fact! We love and appreciate you! And a lost and dying world needs MORE people like YOU!

I can prove to you conclusively that it DOES! !Yes, "Jesus Christ IS the "Light of the world!" He alone is able to provide the answer to the world's problems, that no other alternative religion or cult can even hope to provide. Because ONLY Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world and to save the lost. Not Moses(apart from Messiah), Not Buddha, nor Mohammad, nor Hare Krishna...but only Jesus the Son of God and Messiah, the Light of the world.

For forty years now, I have been a born-again Bible-believing Christian, striving to live in the light of God's holy Word. I have trained in Bible college and various schools of other Christian training. I have been involved in numerous ministries.I have performed Christian outreach out there on the streets of America's cities and many other challenging locations. I have personally witnessed the many problems this world suffers from. And throughout these forty years, I have seen clearly WHY the WORLD NEEDS JESUS CHRIST!

The terrible problems that are rampant throughout the world today COULD NOT EXIST, if the words and teachings of Jesus Christ the Savior of the world were being obeyed and followed. The crises that now threaten the very existence of mankind could not exist, IF the simple yet eternal eternal teachings of Jesus Christ were obeyed and followed to this day.

In fact, so much of the tragedy and sorrow and destruction and oppression we see in the world today, is a direct result often of people who blatantly defy the word of God and His commandments and the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ. COMMUNISM is a good example. COMMUNISM has oppressed tens of millions of people worldwide, and murdered countless innocents. It continues to oppress various nations and her people to this various day. COMMUNISM is at war with God Himself, declaring that "God does not not exist" and seeking to root out and destroy Christianity from the face of the earth.

COMMUNISM burns down churches and burns Bibles as well

Witness throughout modern history the destruction and heartache that communism brought to the world. At times, to further it's insidious goals, it has created artificial famines, resulting in the deaths of millions. It has oppressed Christianity in every nation it has overtaken, resulting in the tortuous and untimely deaths of tens of millions of Christians worldwide, including throughout communist Russia and China and Cuba and North Korea, Kampuchea and beyond. Communism provokes tragic wars and bloodshed. It brings forth tyrannical and oppressive regimes and governments. When the word of God is cast aside, only tragedy and heartache and destruction can follow in it's wake.

The problems plaguing today's world include:

-Wars
-Organized crime
-murders
-stealing
-pollution
-corruption on every level, including political, law enforcement, etc.
-child and spousal abuse
-Drug trade
-suicides
-cult crimes based out of satanism and related cults
-pornography
-abortion
-modern slave trade
-oppression of people through brutal totalitarian governments
-destroying the earth and her resources
-marital infidelity and destruction of marriages
-rampant increase in STD worldwide (sexually transmitted diseases)

And so much more.

Does the Word of God address such subjects as the above? Does it provide an answer to stop the above? YES!

The Bible declares that Jesus Christ IS the "Word of God" in the flesh. The word of God gives us commandments that when obeyed, bring life and hope to a dying world in which we live.

Jesus Christ teaches us that the greatest commandment is to love God the Father with everything we have and are. You see, if you love God, out of that love you will keep His commandments. Jesus declared, "If a person loves Me, he or she will keep My commandments." Proof of our love for God is our obedience to Him.

The words, "Mommy, I love you" are empty if that child then refuses to obey that parent or do the things the prove the professed love. The words of a husband "honey, I love you" are empty if that husband then fails to do those things that prove this professed love. And the words, "Jesus, I love you" often sung in thousands of churches worldwide every week, are empty if we then fail to do the very things from the word of God that PROVE our love professed to Him by our words.

"If a person loves Me, he or she will then keep My commandments...."

For example, Jesus declared that we are to love one another as He has loved us. "A NEW commandment I give unto you, that you love one another, as I have loved you."

How did He love us? The Bible teaches us that He loved through showing mercy, compassion, and care for all people that He came into contact with. He manifested the Divine love of God continually.

Where there is LOVE, there can be no hatred, murder, cruelty, nor breaking of God's commandments telling us how to love God and love our fellow man. Where there is LOVE in a marriage, there can be no adultery, strife, nor spousal abuse. Where there is LOVE in a family, there can be no place for child abuse (nor elder abuse) of any kind. There can be no prolonged strife.

Where there is LOVE, there can be no hate, no wars, no cruelty, no brutality. Where there is LOVE, there can be no murders. And that includes ABORTION as well.

Where there is LOVE, there can be no crimes against humanity. Crimes against humanity can include many aspects, including that of corporate greed that manufactures tools of death and destruction of people's lives, such as cigarette ("cancer sticks") manufacturing. If you love and care about people, you can never manufacture and sell that which is scientifically proven to cause sickness and death, regardless of how financially lucrative it may be.

The cigarette industry fully understand the scientific truth about how tobacco and the many chemicals they add to addict people to their products, then destroys the health of their purchasers. But do they love their fellow man enough to STOP the production of these cancer sticks? The obvious answer is NO! It is not without reason that the Bible declares to us, "...the love of money is the root of all evil...." However, the LOVE OF GOD produces just the opposite! Where there is love and concern for our fellow man, there can be no destructive practices.

The worldwide cult of Satanism (the Craft, the Brotherhood, the Illuminati, etc.) IS a continual crime against humanity. Filled with hatred against God, rejecting Jesus and all that can be called "good," satanism inflicts unspeakable horrors upon even the most helpless and innocent of mankind wherever it is found.

If you want to find the epitome of the final result of rejecting God's love and Jesus Christ, then attend a satanic ritual. In such tragic and senseless rituals, kidnapped or bred victims are brutally tortured to death, then their remains cannibalized, all to the screams of "hail, satan". It is estimated by some that up to one million victims in North America alone, become victims of horrific satanic cult crimes annually. And you will never know about this, because the news media dutifully blacks out 99 percent of this, because some of the most powerful men and women in the world today are hard-core satanists, many untouched by the law because of their financial or political power. There is no justice in the truest sense here in America or anywhere else in the world today due to corruption.

Pornography coupled with sexual abuse is one of the worst crimes against humanity that one can commit against victims, especially when it defiles and shames innocent children forced into this wicked trade. Their tenders hearts and minds are then scarred for life, and the shame and defilement is never forgotten by such helpless children. Snuff films go even further, brutally murdering it's victims in the end. And all for filthy and corrupt financial gain.

Illegal and harmful drug manufacturing and distribution is a most terrible crime against humanity, with long term consequences for millions of it's unfortunate victims. Witness the destruction that cocaine and heroin and meth addiction brings to it's victims worldwide. Yet, undeniably the growers, producers and dealers know exactly what these drugs will do to their users.

But they do not care. Their consciences are seared, their hearts are hardened. There is no love for God or humanity in their hearts, and they bring death, untold suffering and destruction throughout the world through their filthy trade. And once again, love of money and NO love for God or mankind lays at the rotten heart of the horrific world of illegal drugs.

Again, Jesus teaches us, "If a person loves me, he or she will keep my commandments." And if a person loves GOD, they will keep His commandments as well.

Jesus further taught us that, whatever we would want others to do for or to us, so do towards others. Do we want to be loved and shown compassion? Then we are to show love and compassion. Do we want to be understood and forgiven? Then we are to show forgiveness and compassion. If we are suffering from a crisis, do we want others to care and help? Then we are to help and care about others in crisis.

How many wars, conflicts, and how many revenge killings have taken place throughout the centuries, because of people's hatreds and unforgiveness towards one another! Yet Jesus teaches us to FORGIVE OTHERS. He goes beyond this, in fact, to teach that we are to love and forgive and be kind to and pray for those who have offended us. When this teaching of Jesus is obeyed, there can be no acts of revenge or revenge killings. There can be no wars based on retaliation or revenge where there is love and forgiveness based on obedience to Jesus Christ.

How many of you have ever needed FORGIVENESS? How many of us have ever "blown it?" ALL of us have at one time or another. "The Bible states, "for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." And this being the fact, we all stand in need of mercy and forgiveness. And this mercy and forgiveness is provided exclusively through Jesus Christ.

In today's world of promiscuous lifestyles, encouraged by hellish Hollywood and rock music, etc., many people fall into the sins of fornication and adultery. Did you know that some world religions declare that people can be stoned or beheaded or flogged for the sins of adultery or sexual immorality? No forgiveness and no mercy, just judgment. For example, Islam and Biblical Judaism from the Torah teach this. But what was Jesus' answer to the woman caught in the act of adultery by the religious leaders of His day? The Jewish religious leaders of His day wanted her stoned to death, according to the Law of Moses. But Jesus' response was, "...neither do I condemn you: go and sin no more."

But Jesus Christ DID, and therefore ONLY JESUS CHRIST CAN SAVE THE WORLD. This is another reason why JESUS CHRIST is the answer to the problems of the world completely! Timeless Inupiaq Treasures From Kotzebue: The Revered Elders

The Inupiaq culture contains many honorable and outstanding aspects affecting every part of their society. One important aspect of their belief system from ancient times is THE HONORING OF THEIR ELDERS. One of the first things I noticed when coming to the Inupiaq village of Kotzebue, is the great honor and respect, love and care that is bestowed upon all elders here. The same applies to all Inupiaq (Inuit) villages and dwelling places.

Often, we in the western world forget the importance of elders and their place in our society. In the Inupiaq culture, they recognize the importance of these people continually. For they realize that is the elders who carry on and pass down the traditions of this proud and ancient people and preserve them carefully, from generation to generation.

For example, it is the elders who know their native language thoroughly and are able to then teach it to a younger generation. It is the younger generation who are continually in danger of being assimilated by the modern culture and language of their world today. The elders are able to pass on to younger generations the timeless skills for survival and every day life that have preserved the Inupiaq for centuries from this harsh climate and geography.

Such skills include being able to live off of what nature provides, in the forms of food and clothing. The Inupiaq are skilled hunters and fishers and trappers. They then take what they have obtained from nature and carefully process this into both food and warm winter clothing as well. By such means Inupiaq have been able to survive in this harsh climate for thousands of years. The Inupiaq want their language and culture to survive well into the 21st century and forever.

However, the danger to the Inupiaq people and their culture lies in the threat of assimilation into modern civilization. Their youth are being educated in schools that teach primarily in English. Traditional fur parkas, leather boots and clothing are being gradually replaced with modern synthetics including down and Goretex.

Many modern Inupiaq youth reason, "why learn traditional fishing and hunting skills, when we can buy anything we want at the local grocery store? Why learn our Native language, when everything from movies to the Internet to popular rock music is all in modern English?"

The reason is clear: in order to preserve WHO YOU ARE (your culture, your heritage, and yourselves as a distinct people and language,) you MUST choose to value these things and carefully preserve them. There is no one more qualified to pass on this priceless heritage, than the revered elders of the people.

Furthermore, in the troublesome times this nation may unfortunately face in the future, there is no sure guarantee that there will ALWAYS be food on the grocery store shelves. Or always be clothing in the stores. Nor many other things that we have learned to rely on in our modern culture of today.

There may come a time when the survival skills learned, practiced and handed from generation to generation among the Inupiaq through the elders, may be needed more then ever before. In fact, I tell you: there is coming such a time to North America and many other parts of the world. The grocery store shelves will be emptied! There may be no gas, no electricity and nothing left on store shelves in the future. Such survival skills as learned and practiced by the Inupiaq will become essential. This is why Inupiaq youth must choose to learn from the elders, the ancient and profitable skills that have kept them surviving against all odds for thousands of years!

Just ask Kotzebue's own Native hunter LANCE KRAMER. He even knows how to make traditional ULU KNIVES from native stone here. He knows how to successfully run a TRAP LINE and harvest the furs for practical items such as booties, "parkees" and gloves and other items necessary for survival here. He can hunt and fish. He learned so much of this from listening TO THE ELDERS in his community. And from observing their skills first-hand. And now he can pass these skills down to others. Smart man! (And smart enough to marry one of the Inupiaq's most beautiful and finest, Corina, now with darling children of their own! But of course, there are many other fine and skilled Inupiaq men and women, who have learned such skills from their elders and have passed them down to the youth as well.

These elders of the Inupiaq people are indeed a national heritage. They carry priceless wisdom, years of experience, and the language and skills and practices of the people, passed down from ancient times.

I have already enjoyed the memorable experience of being in contact with several elders here in Kotzebue, and have found these people to be a delight. The Christmas Eve presentations by the elders in the Friends Church, for example, I can never forget. Their deep sincerity in presenting the Word of God to us that night was moving, and even their distinct Inupiaq humor displayed in some of the skits, was unforgettable. At one Christmas dinner I attended in Kotzebue, before we ate, a much beloved elder known as Sister Flora was asked to stand and give the prayer of thanksgiving for this feast.

Her words and sincerity in even this simple prayer moved me to tears. I later came up to dear Sister Flora and told her how much her prayer meant to me, and told her that it was evident she was a woman of deep character and conviction. There are many other wonderful people among the elders here as well. As I have spent time in their presence, simply listening to them, I have already begun to appreciate their wisdom and insight coupled with many years of experience.

Something that moved me deeply, was a beautiful hand-made banner hanging in the High School cafeteria of Kotzebue. It portrayed the traditionally important virtues upheld by the Inupiaq people. One of them was RESPECT FOR ELDERS. Amazing. Something like this would never have been allowed in high school cafeterias in America! But these wise people made SURE that such a banner hung there for all the youth to see and be reminded of every single day. How smart!

Without a written language, Inuit preserved their culture through oral history. Consequently, they excelled at storytelling. Such stories contained important themes and knowledge that served to educate the younger people.

In our modern Western culture, we are often guilty of glorifying our modern skills and technology. We think that everyone should learn from US. After all, we have the newest 21st century technology available in the world today.

But does modern technology always provide for development of quality of character in people or a society? No. In fact, it can actually provide for modernized barbarians instead. Our "modern technology has poisoned the entire planet and her oceans as well! It has paved the way for the destruction of mankind through weapons of mass destruction. It has created extinction of species. Depth and quality of character in people is actually more important in any society, than even possessing advanced technology.

Did Native and Indigenous tribes throughout the world ever do this to the earth, to her people or her creatures? No. But modern technology from "civilized people(!)" has!

As I spend quality time with these Inupiaq of Kotzebue, I am discovering more and more as I live among these people, how much we have to learn from THEM. While I am here, I will respect, and honor, I will listen carefully, and I will learn.

WHY You Should Go ORGANIC:Guest Article

The Environmental Protection Agency reports that the majority of pesticides now in use are probable or possible cancer causes. Studies of farm workers who work with pesticides suggest a link between pesticide use and brain cancer, Parkinson’s disease, multiple myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma and cancers of the stomach and prostate.¹

Certainly, it is better to eat fruits and vegetables grown and harvested using pesticides than to not eat them at all, but it is also wise to minimize our pesticide exposure.

Environmental concerns
When we buy organic, we minimize our pesticide exposure, and we are also minimizing the amount of these pesticides that our environment is exposed to. Organic farming is clearly the more environmentally-friendly choice. According to the USDA, organic farming “integrat[es] cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity.”

Although organic cropland acreage in the U.S. has increased five-fold since 1995, organic cropland still accounts for only 0.57% of total cropland. Supporting organic agriculture will increase the demand for organic produce and decrease the percentage of farmland (and farm workers) exposed to potentially harmful agricultural chemicals.

Nutritional benefits
Organic produce usually has more nutrients – especially minerals and antioxidant nutrients – than conventional produce. Organic apples, plums, blueberries, grapes, strawberries, and corn have all been shown to have higher antioxidant capacities than their conventional counterparts. Organic strawberries were even found to have more anti-cancer activity than conventional strawberries! Scientists have theorized that when the plants are grown without pesticides, they are forced to deal with the stress of insects, which causes them to produce more antioxidant compounds, which are beneficial to humans.^4,5
The Environmental Working Group provides lists of produce called the ‘Dirty Dozen’ (highest in pesticides) and the ‘Clean 15’ (lowest in pesticides). These are their most recent lists.³

Highest in pesticides – buy organic if possible:
1. Celery
2. Peaches
3. Strawberries
4. Apples
5. Blueberries
6. Nectarines
7. Bell Peppers
8. Spinach
9. Kale
10. Cherries
11. Potatoes
12. Grapes (imported)
Peaches have the most pesticide residue of all fruits – 97% of conventional peaches test positive for pesticides, and as many as 53 different pesticides can be found on peaches. The most pesticide-laden vegetables are celery and bell peppers. Sixty-four different pesticides were found on bell peppers. Imported produce is also more likely to contain higher levels of pesticides.^2,3 Choosing to buy these fruits and vegetables organically grown will help to protect us against the possible risks of pesticide exposure. If you do buy the conventional versions of these foods, it is best to wash them with soap and remove the skin before eating them.

Buying organic is a wise choice – organic foods taste better, and organic agriculture protects farmers and our environment.

Organic Farming for Christian Survival in the World Today

Every Christian should turn to organic farming and obtaining/generating pure water in the world today. While short term organic farming may be feasible here in North America, I recommend strongly that North Americans consider and pray about relocating to Central/South America and purchase quality farmland that is suitable for raising organic crops, with a suitable water supply. Argentina is an excellent location, as well as other locations there. Costa Rica is excellent too.

Although I am helping my friend Lisa here in Alaska to get started for now and am staying for a while to help the Native Inupiaq, my long term goal after this assistance is to relocate to Central/South America to pursue organic farming/ranching. With the money I earn I hope to do this. And that other Christians may join me. This is a peaceful solution to the problems coming to North America, and profitable spiritually and physically and for safety for families with children, non-confronting and non-combative.

Many concerned and Christian families have already relocated quietly to Central and South America, as I discovered when I lectured in Costa Rica in 2001.They became aware of the coming AMERICAN NWO HOLOCAUST. And even this is better than what you will find in North America (Canada too) in the future. Many Americans have relocated already to Central and South America successfully and they are glad (especially now) that they did!

Little by little, in the name of fighting terrorism, our Bill of Rights is being repealed. The 4th Amendment has been rendered toothless by the PATRIOT Act. The PATRIOT Act, as bad is its violation of the 4th Amendment, was just one step down the slippery slope. The recently passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) continues that slip toward tyranny and, in fact, accelerates it significantly. The main section of concern, Section 1021 of the NDAA Conference Report, does to the 5th Amendment what the PATRIOT Act does to the 4th. Last January, four-term senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) announced that he would not seek reelection in the upcoming 2012 elections. This seems to have relieved any pressure of facing his constituency for approval, allowing him to push for some of the most draconian legislation in the history of the United States. Or, perhaps, he is just auditioning for a more powerful position like Secretary of Defense or Secretary of the DHS.

Besides his renewed pressure on Google and Twitter to openly censor the Internet, Lieberman's desire to crush all dissent against the war machine has manifested in bills like his Enemy Belligerent Act, his Internet Kill Switch bill, and the recently introduced Enemy Expatriation Act.

Unfortunately, the most egregious parts of the above mentioned bills already found their way into law under the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which seemingly renders any further discussion of these bills as somewhat redundant, but they certainly won't be critically discussed in the corporate media.

The Enemy Belligerent Act grants "the president the power to order the arrest, interrogation, and imprisonment of anyone -- including a U.S. citizen -- indefinitely, on the sole suspicion that he or she is affiliated with terrorism, and on the president's sole authority as commander in chief."

The Internet Kill Switch bill, officially called the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, gives the President the authority to police, censor and shut down parts of the Internet under a cyber emergency. Many Americans are rightly concerned with this recent legislation, and many of America's Christians as well. I am one of those American Christians, whose ancestry goes directly back to my Pilgrim ancestors who arrived here on the Mayflower in 1620. I am a direct descendant of John and Priscilla Alden. These Pilgrim Protestants came to escape religious persecutions in Europe and England. They also came to this brave new world to found a just nation whose Father is the God of the Bible, and whose laws and ruling system would be based on the eternal truths found throughout the word of God, the Bible.

Many New England towns are named after my ancestors. (I am also related to the Peabodies who intermarried with the Aldens, after whom Peabody, Massachusetts is named) and more. Some of my relatives fought in the American Revolution to obtain our precious liberties we all cherish.

Personally, I have been a born again Christian now for forty years. I have attended not only Bible College (Elim Bible Institute, 1973-1975, 19860, but also many other schools of Christian training including Youth With A Mission (DTS), Slavic Gospel's Institution of Slavic Studies (mission work among Russians). I have been involved in nothing but various forms of ministry now for forty years. I know the Word of God, and strive to put it into practice every single day.

I too am concerned over these kind of legislation

I have been reporting on the ominous building of hundreds of detention camps, covered up by the government and media with "official government explanations" such as "...oh, they are for illegal immigrants, detainees from GITMO, nothing for Americans to worry about..."

But that is not what military and CIA insiders were leaking out. They admitted that these detention camps were to hold future "resisters of the New World Order" as it finally came down across America.

Many Americans have been following independent and alternative news and broadcasts exposing the NWO agenda for years now. This newest legislation comes as now surprise to them either. This most recent legislation is merely the "icing on the cake" putting the finishing touches on the nasty NWO "surprise cake" these people have been baking for us for years now! "Surprise, surprise!" they will shout as martial law comes down the scheme is fully unveiled finally.

But for millions of informed Americans and Canadians, this comes as no real surprise at all. We have been watching this NWO scenario laboriously unfold for years now.

For millions of Christian Americans, what must the response be? The answer is found in the Word of God, that does not change with the capricious whims of world leaders and dictatorships. "...the grass withers, and the flower fades, but the Word of the Lord endures forever."

We know that these two new pieces of legislation pertain to MARTIAL LAW and the coming police state I have been warning about for 15 years now (as my readers know.) But for us as Christians, we are commanded by a Higher authority, Almighty God, to continue in obedience to the eternal laws and word of God regardless of what men may decree.

Persecution has come to the Christians periodically throughout the past two thousands years, because of OBEDIENCE TO GOD rather than man.

Arrest. Imprisonment. Torture. Martyrdom. All for obedience to God rather than man.

Does the Bible teach obedience to earthly authorities? Yes. We are to obey earthly laws and authorities, whenever they do not conflict with the Higher Laws of Almighty God. But where the laws of men state that we cannot freely serve and worship God, when we cannot freely assembly for prayer and fellowship, we we cannot share or proclaim the Gospel to others, or confess Jesus Christ before men, or other laws restrict us from keeping His commandments and obeying His Word, then we have no choice but to obey God instead.

I have been persecuted heavily throughout my entire Christian walk, for obedience to God rather than man. However, I have stood firm on my faith and convictions and have not moved from them in 40 years. Nor will I. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Period.

However, do I have a gun and ammunition to use to resist unjust government decrees when I disagree with the government? No. I have a much more powerful weapon in my hand. It is called the WORD OF GOD. When Jesus Christ was tempted, He used the WORD OF GOD. When Jesus Christ was persecuted and falsely accused, He used the WORD OF GOD. In fact, He IS the WORD OF GOD.

I follow Jesus Christ. And if I must someday follow Him in His arrest, or in His trial, or in His sentencing to death and being led away to Golgotha for the sake of righteousness and the truth of God, so be it.

But my Christian testimony to the world remains free from hatred, free from retaliation towards my persecutors, free from violent resistance. Rather, I am praying for our future persecutors and their salvation daily. Jesus died for ALL men to be saved. As Christians, we too were once sinners. Thank God He had mercy on US in our sinful state!

May we choose to pray for our persecutors, may we choose to forgive our persecutors, may we proclaim Jesus Christ to our persecutors, and thereby may countless formerly lost souls come into the Kingdom of God because of our witness and testimony to our persecutors throughout the times to come. Many Russian communists came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, because of the witness of the very Christians they were persecuting and even torturing and martyring under communism throughout the former Soviet Union.

I know this personally, because I have worked with Russian and Slavic Christians for many years now. Their testimonies I can never forget! They OVERCAME by the Blood of the Lamb, by the Word of their tstimony, and because they were faithfu lunto death.(Revelation 12:11) They did not deny Jesus Christ to save their lives, family members, jobs or homes.And neither, my Christian friends and readers, can we.

With the passage of these two pieces of legislation, can martial law be far behind? And if this be the case, I urge all my Christian readers to PREPARE by spending time in fasting, prayer, and spending much time in the Word of God. His Word promises us that His grace is sufficient!

Alaska: High on Toxic Releases

The U-S Environmental Protection Agency today reports that Alaska mining operations account for ninety percent of the toxic chemical releases in the four-state Pacific Northwest Region.
The 2010 Toxic Release Inventory shows a national increase from 2009 of sixteen percent nationwide. The national trend had been dropping before that. Regionally, all Northwest states had increases. Alaska’s increased twenty percent, producing a total of 835-million pounds from thirty-two facilities in the state.

Kelly Huynh is the Toxic Release Inventory’s unit manager at the Seattle regional offices of the E-P-A. She says Alaska’s toxic releases are the highest of any state in the nation — and there’s no single explanation for why the numbers have increased.

Some of the reasons might be that there’s increased production. The economy is getting better so people are producing more. Certainly for the mining industry there’s variations in ore composition which is one of the explanations for the increases there. There could be changes in production processes. And sometimes is just a matter of facilities’ finding better methods of calculating the amounts of material they’re releasing to the environment.

According to the report, the largest source of release is the Red Dog Mine in the Northwest Arctic Borough near Kotzebue – with 777-million pounds of toxics annually going into the air, water and land.

Huynh says her office deals with the total amount of materials released – and does not go into questions of whether the toxic releases are within permit limits or are disposed of properly. She does not regulate individual sites like the Red Dog.

They talked about changes in production as well as they were talking about changes in their ore composition, which is why their releases increased. We haven’t talked about each facility to determine why they’ve increased from one year to another. But for Red Dog that was their basic explanation of why.

Red Dog’s output includes fourteen difference toxic materials including more than 800-thousand pounds of arsenic, three hundred million pounds of lead compounds and 450-million pounds of zinc compounds.

Other large facilities that release toxic chemicals include the Green’s Creek Mine in Juneau with 47-million pounds of materials, and the Pogo Mine near Fairbanks with Seven Million pounds.

Mining is not the exclusive source of listed materials reported. Eilson Air Force Base reported 110-thousand pounds and Fort Wainwright showed 122-thousand pounds of toxic material placed into landfills.

The State’s Department of Environmental Conservation issued a statement pointing out that the federal report was based on reports from various facilities and involved permitted releases into managed facilities or in accidental discharges.

It is Friday, January 6, 2012. It is still dark outside. Outdoors, it is minus 17 degrees F, with a windchill of minus 35 F. Although the indoors heat is relatively comfortable, I find myself inwardly feeling vaguely chilled as I perform more and more research on the Fukushima meltdown disaster and increasing evidence of it's deadly far-reaching consequences, even here in Alaska.

As I and other independent journalists have noted repeatedly since the Japan earthquake and Fukushima meltdown, the US government and various elements of it's controlled media and agencies are seemingly in denial that anything could be wrong here in America due to the Fukushima meltdown.

However, ongoing research, common sense and gut instinct tells me that something is terribly, terribly wrong. And it's not getting any better with time. In fact, it may be getting worse...

I am sitting in Kotzebue, Alaska, writing this article on the radioactive debris washing up on Alaska's shores. Other articles I have read have indicated that even caribou and non-ocean wildlife here in Alaska may be affected by the radioactive particles still being released by the Fukushima meltdown that began with the earthquake in March of 2011. Some articles have stated that scientists in Canada and Alaska are finally beginning to test them for evidence of radioactivity.

Kotzebue, Alaska, is a coastal village inside the Arctic circle, of the Inupiaq Eskimos. These Inupiaq have always relied heavily on seafood traditionally for survival. Whether whale or walrus or seal or salmon and other fish, the Inupiaq have counted on these food sources for thousands of years. And now, due to documented toxic ocean pollution build-up throughout this region, and more recently radiation effects from Fukushima, the people here are presented with new and deadly health concerns that may threaten their very lifestyle and existence.

As I read more and more articles about the Fukushima disaster and it's far reaching consequences, I am compelled to join the ranks of independent journalists who are asking, "WHY is the government and the EPA seemingly downplaying the health effects of this nuclear meltdown to the public? Why is the truth seemingly being covered up or minimized to the public?" Other websites, blogs and independent journalists not muzzled by government control are asking this same question, and repeatedly.

Such questions rightly need to be asked in the aftermath of such a terrible disaster. The life of a nation is her people. And wherever the health of the people becomes threatened, questions must be asked as to WHY. And then the answers necessary to resolve such a threat must be sought for and implemented.

Could it be the lobbying power of the massive food industries, including the seafood industry, who don't want their business jeopardized by the truth?

With radioactive particles falling on fields, crops, waterways across North America and Canada, could the food industry feel endangered if the full truth were to come forth? With radioactive debris traveling across the ocean to our shores, and filling the ocean in fact due to this disaster, could the seafood industry feel threatened now?

Let me give you an example of EPA cover up. In 1979, Elizabeth, a friend of mine who worked for the EPA came home from work in Washington DC. She told me, "The EPA just conducted a test of all the known seafood regularly harvested and sold to the public. They discovered that EVERY ONE OF THE SEAFOOD SAMPLES SUFFERED FROM CANCER. "In other words, the toxicity in the ocean had reached that level already by 1979, to the extent where every fish and related seafood was cancerous. And when a person ingests that fish, the environmental or biological toxins that triggered that cancer is being passed on to the consumer.

But then she revealed to me that the EPA was not going to make this finding known to the public.

If you go to the above link and read the article where it downplays the radioactive threat to seafood and consumers, keep in mind that the media can lie to the public, and does so at times for various and sundry reasons. As one judge declared in a ruling handed down in one court, when a person sued the media for lying to the public, that the media is under no LEGAL obligation to tell people the truth (!) Consider the owners of that media source, consider any ties to industries or lobbying of any kind, etc. In fact, we are being lied to on a daily basis by news media at any given time. Consider the power of hidden government censorship. This is why independent research must be continually performed by people who want to know the truth.

It is ludicrous to think, with the already high level of toxins in the ocean detected here, that make Alaska Inuit breast milk the most toxic in the world due to ingesting polluted seafood, that there could be no danger to the seafood from the radiation. When Dutch Harbor, AK, has the highest readings from the fallout from Fukushima, and when dead or sick seals are already washing up on shore that show evidence they may be suffering from the symptoms of radiation poisoning, does this not indicate that caution must be exercised and further testing performed for the sake of the health of the people?

If the debris washing up here in Alaska is radioactive, and if Alaska has the highest measurement of radiation in the USA, why shouldn't the seafood originating here be tested for the sake of safety of consumers?

This is a question that everyone living here must ask at this time. And across the North American Continent as well. And why not worldwide?

I originally came to Alaska as a mission of mercy, to help my medic friend in her work with the Eskimo villagers. I will also be helping with health care here as well. And now, dealing with this emerging crisis must also become a part of our health concerns while here as well.

Scientists are now beginning to test seals from Alaska for evidence of radioactivity connected with the dead and dying seals surfacing here on Alaska's coast. They claim that they will make the results public in a few weeks. And even before the testing, some scientists are downplaying the possibility that radiation from Fukushima could play a part in the seal illness. I do not consider this to be fair and unbiased investigation!

However, I must ask , WILL THEY DISCLOSE THE FULL RESULTS OF THIS TESTING TO THE PUBLIC?

After the EPA covered up the truth in 1979 about what they discovered following scientific research performed on seafood and discovering widespread cancer throughout seafood samples, will pressure once again from the seafood and food manufacturing industries cause them to release only PART of the truth, and to conceal the truth about the link with the radioactivity? Or none at all? There are precedents, and yes, they are fully capable of concealing the truth from the public, to the detriment of the health of the American/Canadian people here.

As a professional health care provider, it is my responsibility to be concerned for the health of people I interact with. With continual evidence surfacing that there are emerging health problems due to this ongoing disaster, I remain very concerned here in Alaska at this time.

In researching health hazards to the American people due to environmental and industrial pollution, I read a book written by Loretta Schwartz-Nobel called "Poisoned Nation". This book outlined, in the beginning, the tragedy of the Inuit people encountering modern industrial pollution and the health issues it created for them.

In this book, the author outlined how scientists testing the Inuits for evidence of pollution creating health hazards, noted that Inuit/Inupiaq mothers had the highest levels of toxins in their mothers' breast milk of ANY people they tested. But how could this be, up in the Arctic circle and in pristine wilderness settings, far from any industry (except for RED DOG MINE about 40 miles outside Kotzebue)?

These people have lived on wild game and food coming from the ocean for thousands of years. Seafood includes, seal, whale, fish and other forms as well. When scientists tested the seafood most heavily consumed by the Inuit/Inupiak, they discovered that all this seafood was polluted with industrial toxins and by-products, directly through the food chain. Not only were the Inuit ingesting these toxins through consumption of seafood, but the land animals who also rely on these seafoods were becoming adversely affected with health issues as well.

Scientists noted that polar bears, who rely heavily on seafood for survival were experiencing even genetic deformities such as dual sex organs (hermaphrodite or male/female organs) and other unsettling abnormalities as well.

According to reports I have read, the ocean currents are carrying these industrial pollutants from the USA, and foreign nations as well, all the way up to the Arctic and the North Pole regions. Air currents are also carrying pollutants, which then are dispersed in the form of rain and snow, etc. Once they arrive here in the Arctic, they are having a very negative and adverse effect on the food chain and wreaking havoc on nature in many ways.

And now, in the midst of this disturbing information, comes time for comic relief. Somewhere on the Internet while researching, I found this unusual photo taken at sea. I just had to wonder: is this how far the genetic mutations are progressing at this time? What weird creatures are destined to come out of our polluted oceans next? Arggh!

And now, back to reality.......
More recently, due to the radiation fallout from the FUKUSHIMA nuclear power plant meltdown in Japan, radiation is being dispersed high into the atmosphere, and moving west with the wind patterns, to be dispersed on the ground or waterways through rain/snow and particulate matter onto other nations, especially the western coastal regions of North America and ALASKA. Even now, scientists are testing the wildlife here in Alaska and western Canada for evidence of nuclear radiation being assimilated into the food chain here.

The nuclear radiation pollution from the Fukushima meltdown in Japan is also filling the ocean with this deadly hazard as well. Many ill or dying seals are being washed up even right here on the coast of Kotzebue Sound, Alaska. Their symptoms are similar to the effects of radiation poisoning.

Photographs of these sick seals show hair loss, lesions, severe irritation around eyes and mucous membranes, and more. Scientists are very puzzled in examining them, because they are finding no evidence of any disease. And now, they are looking to the possibilities of radiation poisoning as the culprit.

The traditional Inuit/Inupiaq diet has always included seal oil and meat, heavily here in the Kotzebue area in fact. And if the radiation from Fukushima is affecting the seal population even here off the west coast of Alaska, then imagine the potential for it to adversely affect other forms of seafood, such as the famed Alaskan salmon.

Contaminants remain here in the Arctic in high concentrations at the bottom of the Arctic sink where our marine mammals live and eat.”

Of all cultures, the Inuit people of the Arctic have been most strongly affected by ocean contamination. They are faced with the dilemma of giving up their traditional ways of eating or consuming animals that contain high concentrations of toxic chemicals. Hunting and fishing provide the Inuit with a sustainable and independent way of life and are important elements of their 4,000-year-old culture.

The animals of the Arctic now have extremely high concentrations of toxins in their body fat. Beluga Whales, ringed seals, narwhal and polar bears are carrying a huge toxic burden and experiencing the terrible effects of these chemicals.

In the mid-1980’s scientists began to find elevated levels of toxic chemicals known as POPs (persistent organic pollutants) in the blood and fat tissues of the Inuit and other people of the Arctic. Scientists say the toxins can cause cancer, damage reproductive and neurological organs, injure immune systems and cause learning disabilities.

POPs are a set of extremely toxic, long-lasting, organic chemicals that can travel long distances and accumulate in people, animals and ecosystems.

They include pesticides, insecticides, industrial chemicals such as PCBs and waste combustion such as dioxin and furan. These chemicals originate sometimes thousands of miles away. They are carried to the Arctic on wind and water currents where they bio-accumulate and bio-magnify in the Arctic food chain. Polar ice can trap contaminants that are gradually released into the environment during melting periods, even years later.

The Inuit diet of “country food’ which includes marine mammals such as beluga whale, narwhal and seal, puts them at the top of a contaminated food chain. The toxins collect in the animals' fat and are passed on to the Inuit as they eat, or through breast milk. Depending on the amount and type of country food consumed, many Inuit have levels of POPs in their bodies well in excess of the "level of concern" defined by Health Canada.

The bodies of Arctic people, particularly Greenland's Inuit, contain the highest human concentrations of POPs found anywhere on Earth — levels so extreme that the breast milk and tissues of some Greenlanders could be classified as hazardous waste.

Many POPs are endocrine disruptors that cause reproductive, neurological, and immune system dysfunctions. Studies of Inuit children have shown subtle cognitive and neurological effects on five-year-olds as a result of pre-natal exposure to PCBs and mercury.

Research published in the United States points to learning "deficits" and subtle behavioral effects in children born to mothers with high levels of POPs in their bodies. Most of these pollutants can pass through the placenta to impact unborn children in the womb. Women in these American studies had consumed, over a long period, large quantities of Lake Michigan fish contaminated with POPs.

The levels of POPs in the mothers and their children studied in the United States are generally below levels recorded in many Inuit in northern Canada and Greenland, raising concerns about the long-term health effects of POPs on the Inuit people.

And all of this was BEFORE the Japan earthquake and the Fukushima meltdown and spewing of radiation into the atmosphere and the ocean in 2011! THink of how much MORE toxic this region must have become by now.

My personal response, when researching the pollution we encounter in our world today, (and becoming horrified) has been to drastically change my eating habits to primarily vegetarian/organic eating, including careful monitoring of all liquids I drink as well.

Occasionally I may enjoy some organic pasture raised meat such as bison, or wild Alaska salmon. But primarily, due to toxins and other factors, I choose to eat vegetarian/organic foods whenever possible.

However, HOW do you translate this into the Inuit lifestyle and traditional diets for thousands of years? How can you inform these people that, in order to protect themselves and their children, they must all go primarily vegetarian/organic and abandon thousands of years of traditional eating patterns..even if it the best choice for their health?

Furthermore, how practical or financially feasible is this, when the cost of fresh produce at the local "AC" (grocery store) here in Kotzebue, Alaska, is much higher than in the "lower 48"? In trying to maintain my primarily vegetarian lifestyle, I have discovered that...

-a bag of apples is about $10.00.
-a small box of tangerines is about $12.00
-a pound of broccoli is almost $5.00 a pound
-a bag of potatoes $10.00
And more.....

However, I have noted that the AC here has excellent food choices and produce, and their prices are comparable to other food stores here in Alaska in more remote regions. I heartily encourage local readers concerned for their health and wanting to modify their diets, to go to the AC and select from their wide variety some healthy fruits and vegetables and grains such as oats, beans and rice, etc. to add to the traditional diets. In fact, I will be shopping there today for some more health food for Lisa and her family I am living with.

Or course, I realize that if these Inupiaq continue in their tradition ways of hunting and fishing, it costs them far less to feed themselves and their families financially. Many here cannot afford the high costs of maintaining this kind of vegetarian lifestyle, especially organic (everything has to be special ordered.)

But what will it cost them in terms of health (including cancer and birth defects, etc.) if they continue in their traditional ways of eating?
When I first read about the dangers of pollution to the Inuits and the Inupiaq here in Alaska, I was living thousands of miles away in North Carolina, reading Loretta Schwartz Nobels' book "POISONED NATION." As I read her book, I became deeply moved and concerned and started praying for them and this tragic situation. Never did I dream that someday, I would be HERE in Kotzebue, exactly where it is all happening...right in front of my eyes. How much more poignant and disturbing this situation becomes, when you suddenly find yourself living in the heart of this ongoing crisis among the Inupiaq.

My prayer is that I can do SOMETHING that can in ANY way help to positively impact the health crisis here involving illnesses due to toxic pollution in this region. Informing people of hidden dangers like this is often an excellent way of assisting, so they can make informed choices in their food modification and selections whenever possible.

This is where investigative reporting comes in, as an excellent means of informing and warning people of hazards such as this. This important aspect of my journalism I am continuing with at this time, as it is relevant to the place and people and situations I am dealing with here.

Warning people is one thing. However, the more difficult part is, to successfully determine what can be done about this health hazard, in order to effectively cope with it. And that is what I am confronted with, since I now live here in the region that is most adversely affected these forms of life and health-threatening pollution.

My best advice to people facing such a health crisis as this is, BECOME INFORMED by doing research. The better informed you are, the more you can avoid hidden dangers and cope successfully with any crisis you may face.

And then ACT ACCORDINGLY. Discover acceptable solutions to the problem. The sooner you act on what you have researched, the more effectively you can begin to deal with the problem and counter it. As soon as I researched toxins in our foods, and the benefits of going organic and vegetarian, I acted on it immediately. And my body began to feel much better as a result.

Personally, I have decided that in spite of the high cost of produce and getting organic food shipped in to Alaska, my health is worth EVERYTHING. Without your health, how can you successfully work or take care of others, as I do? To compromise my health due to higher food costs, would mean that later one I may pay a much higher price for the cost of medical treatment that I will need BECAUSE I neglected certain aspects of my health earlier. It is better to spend a little more for food that keeps me healthy! Especially living in this location where this health hazard is well known and widely reported on.

Also, I will be ordering specialized water filters that remove various toxins and even radiation from the water. There are filters for showerheads in the bathroom, and filter to screw on for the kitchen and cooking purposes. The water supply coming to Kotzebue comes from the snow melting on distant mountains. Normally snow can be quite pristine.

However, with increasing evidence that nuclear radiation particles originating from Japan's FUKUSHIMA meltdown IS indeed coming to North America and affecting the food/water supplies, it is wise to search on the Internet for water filtering systems that can indeed remove harmful radiation (such as the BIG BERKEY water filtration systems for in home use). And because I am sensitive to chlorine and it's byproducts when added to the water (which it is here) I will ordering filters that also remove chlorine for both kitchen, bathroom and showerhead as well.

I personally recommend BIG BERKEY water filtration systems for the home. They are convenient, affordable, easy to use, and very effective in removing many chemicals and pollutants found in water today, including providing specialized filters that remove radiation from water as well.

In conclusion, yes, we are what we eat and drink! It is always wise to become informed, and to take precautions to protect our health. There IS hope for our health and the future when we before informed and then take the right precautions to protect BOTH.

Brother Lance and the Trapline Miracle

Brother Lance is famed as a mighty hunter in this town of Kotzebue, AK. Hunting and fishing just for survival here among the Inupiaq Eskimos is essential. Often, just to get enough food to eat, these people have to hunt and fish continually. Hunting and trap lines provide necessary food and furs to keep themselves warm through the long and bitterly cold winters here in the Arctic circle.

Brother Lance is an expert at both. He knows how to hunt for Caribou ("bou") or moose ("tiniikaq" in Inupiaq) for both meat and the warm hides to make beautiful Eskimo parkas. Lance also runs a trap line. This is a series of traps set daily to also help bring in the food and warm furs he and his family need to survive.

When Lance informed me the other day that he would be checking his trap line, and hoped he would find some lynx, I promised him I would pray for a miracle of "MORE lynx!".

"Heavenly Father God," I prayed, "you know how his family needs Your provision to survive. Please send him alot of lynx today! In Jesus' name..." Later that evening we came to his Bible study. Lance came in all smiles from visiting his trap line earlier that day. "You won't believe this, " he said, "But today I got not just ONE lynx, but THREE!"

I became excited. I said, "Lance, I DO believe, because I prayed for God to send you more lynx today!" His wife admitted that this was the most he had ever gotten in one day.Lance took me down to his snowmobile and sled that held the lynx. Huge paws and beautiful furry coats from all three greeted us. With a look of mischief on his smiling face, Lance commented that "...I heard that lynx tastes delicious...so we are going to have stir-fried lynx soon!"

Let's pause for a moment here. I know what some of you , my readers, are thinking as you read this. "Ugh! Trapping cute little wild animals? USING their furs? EATING them as well? Grrrr...Where's PETA!"

But listen. You need to read the following to understand what this is really all about.

Each lynx hide he sells for $200 helps to feed his family and provide finances for his wonderful ministry among the Inupiaq here. Lance loves the Inupiaq children of his village, and his ministry to his people often involves taking them into his home to help them. Lynx hides also help provide soft and warm furs to make baby booties and parkas to keep the Inupiaq warm throughout the cold and bitter winters they must endure here. Remember, they have no WALMART or KMART to run to here in Kotzebue for warm winter clothing! The nearest one in hundreds of miles away, and it is only accessible by expensive plane flights to Anchorage.

My friend Lisa, a cat lover, almost gagged when she heard that Lance was going to cook up some "stir-fried lynx" for dinner. Lance only laughed. You see, this is the ancient Eskimo way of survival in a brutal climate and harsh surroundings. They know how to gratefully receive and harvest God's bounty wisely, and put all of it to good use. None of God's provision is wasted here.

You must understand: the brief summer here is not long enough for any substantial farms to grow to provide food for them. It is far too expensive to live solely on foods imported to this part of the world. The Inupiaqs and related tribal peoples have survived for centuries on the provisions of both land and sea. It never has been the Native and tribal peoples of Alaska or throughout the rest of the world who have been responsible for the raping and pillaging of the earth and her resources, but rather the curse of modern civilization accompanied with modern industry and it's greedy consumption of the earth's precious resources.

However, modern civilization and many of it's discoveries and inventions have provided many blessings as well. The Inupiaq are thankful for the modern medical technology and discoveries of the twenty-first century that are provided for all here, through their quality health care facilities that compose MANIILAQ hospital here.

Maniilaq is proud of providing state-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities for the people, and includes a wonderful facility to provide care for the elderly of the region as well. Highly trained doctors and nurses and lab technicians work hard to provide the best of health care for both the village of Kotzebue and the remote Inupiaq villages beyond. Applicants who desire to work here must go through rigorous screening, testing and preparation in order to be accepted to work for this unique facility and opportunity to assist the Inupiaq people dwelling in their native villages. So in this respect modern civilization can prove to be a medical blessing, as it has to the people of Kotzebue.

"Endangered species" is a problem peculiar to the industrialized age, allegedly the "age of enlightenment." Prior to this, native peoples have lived in peace, balance and harmony with nature, her food chains and her seasons. In other words, it has not been the fault of the traditional "hunters/gatherers" who have lived off the earth for thousands of years in this manner, but rather often the curse of various elements of modern civilization, at times coupled with greed and disrespect for the earth that God created, and disregard for healthy and safe harvesting of the earth's resources.

Because of Lisa's limited food budget (due to the cost of food being so high), Lance has been kindly donating extra moose and 'bou (caribou) meat to her to feed her children. And ever since I have arrived, I have become the family chef. I have been learning all about preparing moose for dinner. Now it looks like I will be learning how to prepare (gasp) "tenderloin of lynx"! Thank you, Lance!

Life is becoming very interesting in the land of the midnight sun!

A Christmas Eve Celebration in Kotzebue, Alaska

Last night, Christmas Eve, I and my young friend Solomon enjoyed the most creative and amazing Christmas Eve service I have ever attended. It was held in the Friends Church of Kotzebue, Alaska. The wonderful performances of both drama and music were presented by the amazing Inupiaq natives of this Arctic village.

Actually, I was not fully prepared for what I encountered there last night. Lisa, the nurse I had come up to help here, had explained to me previously, "Now, Pam, I know you can be boisterous and outspoken, but these people are very quiet and reserved. You will have to be very quiet around them...." And so I came to the service on my best behavior mode, lips tightly zipped with only a warm smile protruding from them.

But oh, how WRONG my friend Lisa was! These people let 'er RIP last night! From the village elders to the youngest children, it was truly a glorious celebration filled with native humor and talent galore as even precious little children hardly able to hold the microphone sang "Away in a Manger" as good as any singer in Nashville could ever hope to sing. Various groups also sang away into the night.

Their main presentation play for the evening was themed "Celebrating Christmas Around the World." And they did just that. Have you ever seen an Eskimo dressed up in Hawaiian grass skirt decked with garlands of flowers around their necks? Or dressed up as African American Gospel singers? Or dressed as Native Indians in the lower 48 (Mohawk-cut hairstyle and all)? Only THIS particular Mohawk hair style was colored red, white and blue! And more....

These people must believe in "holy laughter" and the joy of the Lord being their strength, because that is what THIS church was filled with all night long! As the "Hawaiian" Inupiaqs hula'ed down the aisle to the stage, the people chuckled, remembering that it was about 20 degrees below zero outside.

Yet in the midst of much mirth and celebration, there was devout worship and praise with many Christmas carols honoring Jesus Christ, and the Gospel message presented fully to all who came.

For "Baby's First Christmas," they brought up all the newborn babies and those under one year of age to proudly present them to the congregation. These babies looked adorable dressed in their soft furs and in their genuine sealskin booties so soft and warm. So many babies were there that night! In the Inupiaq churches, children and infants are welcome in their services. Church is a family affair. And so it was Christmas Eve.

The village elders are highly honored by the Inupiaq. This is utterly Biblical. And in their churches these elders are honored as well. They gave marvelous presentations of the message of the Christ Child at Christmas time, and emphasized salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Following their wondrous presentations, gifts were handed out to all among the people. And 800 bags filled with fruit and nuts and candy were handed out to all who attended that night. I am still enjoying that wonderful fruit this morning as I write this article.

For those of my readers who have volunteered on Native reservations or villages, it comes as no real surprise that these Native Inupiaq people also have a wonderful sense of humor. Because of the many challenges they have faced, and difficult or painful circumstances they have had to deal with, they have discovered that a good sense of humor helps to keep everything in balance and lifts them up from sadness they face at times.

And by the way, LOVE was everywhere last night in that church! I and a few others were the only
non-Inupiak people in that church, but their love and joy flowed out to all of us without hesitation or discrimination.

You know, it's becoming very interesting here....

Many University-educated white folks from the "lower 48" came up here to "help the Inupiaq" and to teach them regarding medical and health assistance and education. But more and more, as I listen and observe these unique people here in Kotzebue, I am getting the sneaking suspicion that maybe, just maybe, we are here for them to TEACH US some things.

I am learning so much already just by quiet observation and listening. Perhaps we all have much to mutually learn from one another.

I have been to many Christmas Eve celebrations in churches across America throughout the years, but nothing was quite as unique and warm as this one in Kotzebue, Alaska.

May your celebration of the Christ Child come to earth be rich and blessed and filled with sacred songs and prayers and much love this wonderul season, now and always!

The Joys of An ESKIMO Christmas in Alaska

December 24, Christmas Eve Day
Kotzebue, Alaska

Today is an exciting day in the Inupiak village of Kotzebue, Alaska, here in the Arctic Circle. This Inupiaq village considers the Christmas season one of the most important events of the year. Many Inupiaq villagers are devout Christians, including the members of the FRIENDS' CHURCH here.

I am anticipating a wonderful service at the Friend's Church at 5 PM today. For the past two days, Lisa's two children (Solomon and Adam) and I have been helping assemble hundreds of bags full of Christmas candy, apples and oranges (luxuries in this part of the world) and other wonderful treats to give to every one who attends this service, guaranteed to warm the heart. By the time we finished yesterday, we had all helped to assemble 800 bags!

We will be enjoying this wonderful Christmas Eve service among hundred of precious Inupiaq families and children this evening. It will be held in their Native language. We will sing cherished Christmas carols in their Native language. It will be a very joyful and exciting gathering of young and old alike at this happy time of the year.

The Native villagers here make the most beautiful parkas and winter wear imaginable. The church will undoubtably be filled with the people wearing their holiday finest to brighten this season.

Graciously, these Inupiaq invited us to their annual Christmas dinner to be held on Monday at 4 PM. Their traditional foods for the holiday season will be very different from the traditional American diet.

Specialities among the Inupiaq include: smoked salmon, caribou and moose, "muktuk" (whale blubber") bone marrow, and delicious Native baked goods as only the Inupiaq can create here.

One thing I have discovered here, is how loving these people are. I attended a Christmas celebration dinner the other night, and found myself both hugging and being warmly hugged by these people. One elder hugged some children and grandchildren. And then, as she turned around she saw me. She smiled warmly and said, "...and I will hug YOU for Christmas also!" And she did. Warm fuzzies filled my heart and made me feel so special here.

Wonderful elders, men and women and children of Kotzebue, I LOVE you! Keep being warm and wonderful and special. You touch all of our hearts...and especially at Christmas time!

Today I enjoyed a wonderful church service at the First Baptist Church of Kotzebue. Although the service began at 11:00 AM, it was still dark when I arrived at the church. There are only about 3 hours of daylight each day now here, and even that daylight is minimal. A very cold wind blew this morning a cross Kotzebue, causing snow drifts to pile high everywhere. Above, ravens as huge as vultures spread their wings and rode on the ever-present air currents, ceaselessly searching for food scraps and dead carrion.

But inside this church, Christian hearts were warm and friendly as members greeted one another warmly. I was also given a warm welcome as a newcomer here. Today was their annual Christmas play by the children, and everyone was excited. We sang some traditional Christmas carols, and then sat back and enjoyed the adorable play.

Finally, it was time for the service to be over. We joined one another afterwards in the church basement for a delicious potluck dinner. I was proud to bring my "morsel of moose" stew. It was so delicious that the bottom of the serving pan was scraped clean by the end of the dinner.

I experienced the most amazing encounter with a very special man of God and vision for his Inupiak people, Lance Kramer joined with his wonderful wife, Corina. Lance is an incredible person! He is a true son of the Inupiak people, who has maintained their cherished and ancient culture and survival skills essential for survival in this harsh environment. Coupled with years of studying the Bible and performing years of dedicated Christian outreach, he is a mighty man of God with great compassion, vision and concern for his people. A modern "Maniilaq visionary".

Who is MANIILAQ? Maniilaq was an incredible prophetic person among his Inupiak people in the 1800's. Not by missionary preaching, but by Divine revelation of the Holy Spirit, Maniilaq began to know and enter into fellowship with the Father and the Son and receive divine visions and prophecies for his Inupiak people.

Maniilaq had visions of modern planes and boats coming to the land of his forefathers here. Maniilaq received Divine revelation of the Father and the Son, even the word "Abba." He refused to be involved in the occult aspects of shamanism, but instead wanted the pure Divine power coming from the Father. With his unique combination of knowledge of the ancient skills his people possessed to survive and conquer the frigid Arctic, coupled with the more modern revelation of the wonderful grace of salvation and peace with God through Jesus Christ, Lance often finds himself in high demand to come and minister.

In my years of travel across the United States for my journalism, I have spent much time at various Native American tribal reservations. I greatly enjoy and appreciate Native people's, their cultures and traditions and wisdom, and their art both in music and other native crafts. And now that I am here in a genuine Eskimo village, I have enjoyed their beautiful Native skills and crafts and handiwork. Some of the intricate and beautiful Native handiwork and creations are to be found here in Kotzebue, and throughout the neighboring villages.

"PARKEES" or Native Eskimo parkas are very popular. They incorporate rich and beautful hides of locally hunted animals like caribou, moose, lynx and wolverine and more into their intricate parkas. Large furry hoods to protect the face and head are essential because of the bitterly cold Arctic wind that blows across the tundra here. As a skilled hunter, Lance takes care to harvest the hides of all animal he shoots for meat, and then they can be used for beautiful Eskimo creations like the parka below.

Lance has learned all the traditional skills of his people, including operating the TRAP LINE. Even today, he told me he will go out to check his trapline to see what animals the traps have captured. Hopefully, there will be lynx today. For those readers who think this is cruel, think again. In such a cold and bleak climate, they cannot have large farms to grow food to eat or survive.

The Inupiak have survived on what God has supplied to them through Nature for thousands of years. The meat of these animals feeds the village. The hides from these animals provide warm winter clothing just to survive. Nothing goes to waste of the animals they kill to survive. These people could not survive without this.

Lance and his wife Corina and their family have a burning passion to see REVIVAL come to their people! And this is here we can ALL play an important part and watch the glory of God visit Kotzebue and the neighboring villages. YOUR compassionate prayers and fasting, coupled with YOUR financial giving at this time, will make a critical difference in the lives of many Inuits that Lance desires to ninister to here. Finally... I Have Arrived in KOTZEBUE, ALASKA!

Finally after three plane flights and hours of tedious waiting in Airline terminals, I have arrived in Kotzebue, Alaska. The flights were glorious, far above the winter gloom of the grey overcast skies, as we soared high into the atmosphere above the cloud covering below, to bathe our eyes in radiant sunshine framed in turquoise heavens.

It was dark when we flew into the Kotzebue airport early last night, however. Here in Alaska within the Arctic circle, we are rapidly approaching the time in which there will be twenty days of no sunlight whatsoever. And even now as I type this report at 10:00 AM, there is no sunshine to be seen.

However, even in the dark, I was impressed with what I could see in Kotzebue by the light of street lamps. The people in the airport greeted me warmly when I arrived. I was especially grateful as a young Inupiak woman lent me her cell phone in the airport terminal, when I discovered to my horror that I had lost my friend Lisa's street address, and had no cell phone of my own to use to contact her. To my relief, Lisa answered and gave me directions to her apartment immediately.

As I waited outside the airport in the bitter cold, one fine young taxi drive pulled up almost immediately outside the lobby, and kindly grabbed all my baggage and placed it carefully into the back of his taxi. I was taken immediately to my friend Lisa's apartment. I could not believe the low taxi fare: only $6.00! Unheard of in the lower 48. I was more than happy to give him a generous tip and wish him a Merry Christmas, as he smiled shyly and disappeared into the frigid Arctic night.

Snow and bitter cold and MORE snow everywhere! But the resilient Inupiak respond to the bitter cold and it's many challenges by radiating more love and kind assistance to one another everywhere, knowing that it indeed DOES "take a village" to survive as a people and a culture here in the Arctic.

In fact, even as I write this report, savory moose meat is slowly simmering on the stove. ( As I prepared tonight's dinner, I stole a morsel of moose meat and it is YUMMY!) A wonderful Inupiak man by the name of Lance donated some of his locally hunted moose and other wild game to Lisa to help their family with her food needs at this time. Lance is an amazing person, one who has retained ancient tribal skills in hunting and creating necessary tools of survival such as the ULU KNIFE from local resources.He is also a devout man who has professionally trained in studies of Bible Scriptures and has many degrees.

Lance has the reputation of being a mighty hunter in this village. He is taking the time to carefully instruct Inupiak youth in these ancient and necessary tribal survival skills as well. Knowing that it "takes a village" to help feed all it's members, he cooks and provides large meals for all who attend his Bible studies as well. Thank you Lance, for this wonderful moose meat to help Lisa's family!

Since I arrived, Lisa has shared with me her inspiring encounters with the local people such as Lance. There are so many dedicated people here, in fact, that it would take a long time to recount all that so many individuals have done to help contribute to the well-being of Kotzebue and her people.

There is JEAN, who has done incredible things with many handicapped children here, enriching their lives by her excellent skills and compassion in working with them on a daily basis. And so many more....I am looking forward to meeting many of these gracious people of inspiration and encouragement as I gradually come to know Kotzebue and her people better.

Finally, I am retiring from 15 years of investigative journalism, to now help my friend LISA SHINDLER work with the amazing INUITS of KOTZEBUE, ALASKA.

I have performed home health care with patients for many years prior to journalism. I am now returning to home health care, this time among these wonderful Native peoples.

Kotzebue is a fascinating and starkly beautiful place, near many other native Inuit (Inupiak) villages along the coast up in the Arctic circle region of Alaska.

Long before the white men came to this region to explore or to hunt and trap, the resilient Inupiak Eskimos were here, for thousands of years, learning how to survive and over come the brutal cold and many challenges they face in this region of the world.

Thousands of years of enduring and overcoming the challenges this brutal and harsh climatic region provides for them, has caused the Inupiaks to develop into an incredible people whose coping and survival skills and strength are legendary.

I anticipate learning much from them! In fact, I feel very humbled as I read about their history and what they have accomplished in the face of very challenging environment and circumstances that would leave most of us non-Native peoples totally overwhelmed! I realize that I have much to learn from them as I now spend time here.

In fact, we ALL do. In our modern society, few Americans know how to cope with extreme adversity and survive as they have, and America is finally coming to her time of troubles when millions of Americans will face similar hardships in fighting for survival in our future. We all have much to learn from people such as the Inupiak, who have fought the elements, learned to survive and overcome.

I will be reporting live from Alaska on THE AMAZING INUITS OF ALASKA and sharing with my readers my fascinating experiences as I explore a totally different region of North America, and participate an entirely different culture as well.

Faced with a round of threats and speculations of an impending war so shrill that it has sent oil prices soaring, Russia and China were quick today to caution the United States against launching an attack on Iran.
Attacking Iran would be a “very serious mistake fraught with unpredictable consequences,” warned Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, while China expressed concern that the threats were harming the prospects of diplomacy.
They are just the latest in a growing chorus of nations to express concerns about starting another major war. Germany has also said they oppose such a move.
A growing number of US officials past and present have expressed a preference for launching a military attack on Iran soon, with an IAEA report alleging some vague allegations about computer simulations serving as the latest pretext.
Israeli officials have also been hyping the prospect of launching an attack on Iran themselves, with President Shimon Peres insisted the war was “more likely” than any sort of diplomatic solution. Israeli military officials are said to prefer an attack before winter.

Iran, Nuclear Strikes on American Soil, and RUSSIA'S PLAN TO ATTACK USA

I state without apology, that it is only a matter of time before CHINA and RUSSIA attack the USA. I have studied communism and it's goals when training to work with Russians at the Institute of Slavic Studies near Chicago. The staged and phony "FALL OF COMMUNISM" in the 1980's has only been a front to deceive Americans into thinking "RUSSIA IS NO LONGER A THREAT."

What a joke.The communists have always plotted to take America down. I have read many of the statements made by previous Russian leaders, and they have made this fact very clear. They have been simply biding their time, until America is ready to "...fall as ripe fruit into their hands."

I state without apology that there WILL BE nuclear strikes on American soil someday. The US military knows this well, and has been stockpiling up to ten years of EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLIES in their DEEP UNDEGROUND MILITARY BASES in full anticipation of a prolonged nuclear exchange.

However, IF such tragedy takes place, strangely there may be hidden benefits even in this. For example, HOW can the NWO agenda go ahead with it's plans for martial law in America, IF we are under attack from a foreign nation? Missiles from other nations striking the USAwould indeed disrupt railroad transportation by destroying tracks AND FEMA facilities. The infamous prisoner boxcars with shackles I have reported on, that they intend to use to haul NWO resisters to the FEMA camps for destruction,would become useless therefore if railroad transportation is disrupted by war.

The US military, instead of expending all it's resources and efforts on fighting the NWO resisters aross America under martial law, would be forced instead to counter this external threat. And more. Hmmmmm............

IS RUSSIA PREPARING TO ATTACK UNITED STATES?

Russia was no longer considered to be a world power after the fall of the former Soviet Union. But, those who have underestimated Russia are in for a rude awakening. Today Russia has the second most powerful military in the world and is number two in the production of both oil and gas. Forbes Magazine estimates Moscow has 79 billionaires - an increase of 21 in just one year. A top-level Russian General Nikolai Makarov said NATO’s eastward expansion or an attack on Iran by the U.S. and Israel could cause Russia to enter the conflicts threatened ‘The possibility of local armed conflicts along nearly the whole border has increased dramatically. In certain conditions, I do not rule out local and regional armed conflicts developing into a large-scale war, including using nuclear weapons.’ In other words, Russia is prepared to use nuclear weapons!

While America has been naively disarming, Russia has over 12,000 antiballistic missiles in its defense system. Many of these ICBM’s are aimed at cities and key locations in America. Ever since the “fall of the Soviet Union,” Russia has been conducting massive military exercise in partnership with nations like Iran and China. These defense drills are designed to help prepare Russia for any U.S. missile attack against their nation. In addition, Russia has been building a vast system of underground bunkers and nuclear blast shelters. Some military experts are speculating Russia is secretly preparing for World War III.

Some intelligence experts believe that Russia may be making preparations for an attack against the United States. The Russians have been storing up grain, foodstuffs, gold, and oil. These Russian underground bunkers can store 326 million tons of grain, and their military can store 80 million tons of grain. Simultaneously, both Republican and Democratic politicians have been steadily disarming America, including the so-called “Super-Committee which made massive cuts to the U.S. military budget, while nations like China are super-charging their military!

Even before the escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran, Russia continues to prepare for nuclear war with the United States. Years ago, the Russian military decided that an all-out nuclear war with the U.S. was winnable. Russia is building massive underground super-cities in order for their top leaders to survive such a nuclear war. Since the 1960’s, when the Anti-War Movement was mobilized, with the help of Russian agents, the Russians vastly increased the building of underground bunkers in case of nuclear war. Russia has numerous giant underground complexes like the giant underground complex the size of Washington D.C., called “Evil Mountain,” or Yamantau Mountain. The purpose of “Evil Mountain” is to enable the Russian elite to survive a nuclear war. In the United States and nations around the world, massive underground bases, many the sizes of cities, are being built in preparation for World War III.

While many geo-political analysts wrote off Russia as a military and economic failure, the prophet Ezekiel made specific productions about Russia as a leading military and economic power in the last days. Russia supplies nations like Iran with scientists, technology and weapons. Ezekiel had a vision of the future where a nation called Russia which in Ezekiel 38 is referred to as the “land of Magog, along with “Meshech and Tuba,” which scholars believe is located somewhere in Russia. The term in Ezekiel 38, “many people’s with thee,” which is the consortium of Middle Eastern nations allied with Russia. The prophet Ezekiel saw this future vision of Russia and Iran invading Israel around 593 B.C., which was thousands of years into the future. Yet, Ezekiel was more accurate than many geo-political analysts alive today.

The prophet Ezekiel gives us a list of the nations that will come against Israel.

“Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.” Ezekiel 38:1-7

Russia which is called the, sleeping bear,” is backing a lot of militant Islamic nations and according to Ezekiel they are going to move south and invade Israel. Currently, there is a massive build-up of U.S. troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and Australia, in preparation of an Armageddon-style conflict or World War III. American troops are being stationed in Australia as a pre-emptive move against China moving into the Middle East.

The endless need for oil and energy is driving all these nations along with the U.K., and the EU which are reliant on Russian and Iranian oil which is being piped from regions like Siberia to the Caspian Seat, Straits of Hormuz and Persian Gulf, America cannot afford to be lulled to sleep by politicians who are deliberately weakening our military and who believe that Russia has somehow changed. Communist leader Mikhail Gorbachev told an audience at Lafayette College in November 2011, that the United States’ economic problems called for the need for a new American “perestroika.” Russia adopted “perestroika.” “Perestroika” means restructuring.

But the reality is that the Russian “perestroika,” was a masquerade designed to fool America and Europe into believing they gave up their plans for a “World Communist Government,” through revolution, war and violence. All during “perestroika,” Russia was sending spies into the U.S. to steal our military secrets. The Communists have successfully infiltrated the highest levels of government, science, the military, education and the church. They continued to expand their space-based weapons programs and built deep underground super-cities in order to win at a nuclear war.

In fact, Russia is planning on conquering the U.S. through nuclear war. The early Communist revolution led by Lenin in 1917 was financed by the international bankers. These same international bankers are still financing Russia and Communism. It is highly probable that these elites will use nuclear war where millions will die, as they live securely in their luxury-underground cities, much like the scene in the movie, “2012,” where the elite escaped in “arks.”

Many people in the U.S. claim they seen Russian troop movements, through states like Pennsylvania. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance! We have had our most powerful political leaders systematically disarm us as a military force, in the face of World War III. We hear endless propaganda about how Russia is now “peaceful” and the coming new world order will save us.

But, the reality is to use the words of his 1970 book Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, Brzezinski wrote the following.

“The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”

Read carefully the words, “Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.” There are members of the elite, who I believe would allow America to be hit with nuclear weapons in order to accomplish their goals. In addition, it is not inconceivable that Russian troops would march through U.S. cities and shoot Americans.

Saber-rattling rhetoric in the Middle East is reaching new heights. Israel is reportedly deploying its long-range Jericho missiles around Jerusalem, while the Iranian defense minister threatened massive missile retaliation against Israel.

The threat to launch “150,000 or more” missiles was voiced by Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Sunday as he was delivering a speech before army volunteers. Earlier Iranian officials threatened retaliation against both Israel and NATO, should an attack on Iran be carried out.

Meanwhile Israel is reportedly deploying its own missiles around Jerusalem and in the West Bank. The missiles carried into position by military tracks resemble the Jericho missiles, says Aaron Klein, head of the Jerusalem bureau for WorldNetDaily, citing several eyewitness accounts.

The reporter speculates that this may be a military drill, possibly linked to the earlier rocket test fire. The missile launched from the Palmachim test center was reportedly meant to test a new engine for the long-range Jericho III design. Its specifications are classified, but military experts believe the Israeli missile to be capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to any destination in the Middle East, most of Europe, North America and Africa.

Klein believes such a drill may be carried out either as a step in the escalating conflict over Iranian nuclear program or due to the unstable situation in Syria.

Israel’s ongoing row with Iran came back to the fore in the wake of a critical UN nuclear watchdog report, which alleged that Tehran may be working on creating a nuclear weapon and, as some commentators said, gave Israel the grounds for a pre-emptive strike on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Syria’s civil unrest and governmental crackdown on the opposition has led to several rounds of sanctions imposed on the country and speculations that an intervention similar to that in Libya may follow. President Assad warned that such a move would result in a major regional conflict. Israel would then become a natural target for Syrian allies like Hamas and Hezbollah in such a scenario.
The Israeli Defense Force would not comment on the alleged missile deployment.
